Days of Our Lives Recap September 10, 2026: Kate Roberts Torches Arianna Horton’s Internship

DAYS OF OUR LIVES RECAP: SYDNEY DIMERA NAMED THE HOST AND NOBODY WAS READY

TL;DR: Your Days of Our Lives recap for September 10, 2026. Sydney DiMera debuted in Monte Carlo and named the poker host, Arianna Horton was quietly fired from DiMera, and Holly Jonas got a text from a number nobody can trace.

Sydney DiMera Walked Into an Empty Poker Room

The Days of Our Lives recap for September 10 2026 belongs to a name Salem stopped saying years ago. Sydney DiMera made her first appearance, and she made it in a Monte Carlo poker room Philip Kiriakis thought he had to himself. In two minutes she named the man running the game, clocked a ring nobody could explain, and left. Gabi Hernandez never saw her coming.

Philip got there early to feel out the chairs, which he called a pregame ritual rather than a nervous tell. Gabi watched and finally said the thing she had been sitting on. She is afraid he will chase the high the second the chips move. He said it was under control. His hands argued otherwise.

The two are posing as an engaged couple, and Philip suggested they start selling it. They got close enough to kiss before the door opened. Sydney was there early for a ritual of her own, and explained her seat. Her mother’s fiance is hosting and bought her in for a cut. That is Dante Vitali, who does not appear on screen until Monday.

Philip asked her to keep the trip quiet so it would not reach his mother, Kate Roberts. Sydney agreed, offering that she keeps her own secrets from her parents. Then she spotted the ring. Told that Philip proposed the night before, she congratulated them with a smirk that said she had done the arithmetic, then circled the room and left. Our Salem arrivals roundup covers the month’s new faces.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Arianna Horton Lost Her Internship

In the Square, Arianna Horton was talking with Mason Whitfield when Holly Jonas came by and he made his excuses and went. Then Ari took a call telling her the internship was over, with nothing beyond a line about there being no more work. She carried it to the Brady Pub, where Kate and Marlena Evans were sitting. Kate had arranged it two days earlier at Gabi’s request, as we covered in Tuesday’s episode, and said nothing.

Who Plays Sydney DiMera on Days of Our Lives?

Sydney Malakeh plays her, and September 10 was her first episode. The role was confirmed on September 2 after two weeks of mystery casting teases. Salem last saw this character as a preteen in the 2021 streaming film, and she is back aged up, an attorney raised in Italy. Here is the wrinkle nobody has joined up. EJ DiMera told Marlena he was in Italy seeing his daughter, and Marlena spent this episode learning Sydney was on the French Riviera.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Marlena Evans Chased a Celtic Knot

Marlena asked Kate whether a Celtic knot meant anything to her and got nothing back. It has been surfacing in her memory for a week, on a wall hanging and then on a blanket, and she cannot make the pieces mean anything yet. She also introduced Mason as a volunteer at the mental health hotline she oversees, which is quieter than it looks.

Mason Whitfield Named a Death and Not the Dead

Ari followed Mason to the bar and asked him straight out why he treats Holly the way he does. His answer was that Holly is responsible for the death of someone he knew. He did not say who. That is the whole reveal, and it is better for being incomplete. Mason is ex-military, going to school on the GI Bill, and until today Salem had read him as simply rude.

Holly Jonas Got a Text She Could Not Trace

Holly and Tate Black took a picnic to the lake, which is the sort of peace this show hands out right before it takes something. A text arrived from an unknown number asking whether she was having fun. Nine days ago a man pulled a knife on Holly outside the Brady Pub, and Lani ran him down. Whether those are the same story is unanswered.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Leo Stark and Javi Hernandez Called a Truce

At the Pub, Leo Stark overheard Tate telling Marlena that Lani had saved Holly, and pitched it to Kate as podcast material under the title Stark Raving Mad. Then Javi Hernandez grabbed his takeout and bolted. Marlena told Leo to go talk to him and be chill, advice Leo has never taken. He chased Javi to the Square and admitted he knows Javi wanted to come after him in Alamainia. Javi said no to that road and yes to friendship.

We have a prediction about who is texting Holly, and we suspect yours is different. The comments are open.

Three Secrets Left Salem in One Hour

Look at what this episode spent. Ari lost a job and was comforted by one of the people who took it. Mason handed over half a motive and kept the name. Holly got a message with no sender. Salem is carrying more open questions tonight than it was this morning.

The one we cannot leave alone is Marlena. She is chasing a knot she cannot place, and in the same hour she learned EJ is not where he claimed to be. She has no idea those two facts are headed for the same sentence. Come argue it out with us on our Facebook page, because we are already picking sides.
