Katie’s Price for Dylan Is a Forrester Designer
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the week of September 28 hand Melissa Dylan the strangest job interview in Los Angeles. Katie Logan Spencer wants Zende Forrester Dominguez at Logan, and she has picked Will Spencer‘s girlfriend to go get him. In the network’s preview, Katie tells Hope Logan Spencer that Dylan “has been tasked with talking to Zende,” then adds the kicker: “if she wants any kind of acceptance from me, she’d better come through.”
That is quite a turn from Friday. On September 25, Dylan walked into Logan and overheard Katie calling her romance with Will a rebound. The same afternoon, Will compared his mother to Stephanie Forrester, and Katie wore the label like a badge. Now she wants a favor from the girl she calls “not Spencer material,” and it is all over the full two-week preview.
A fan clip making the rounds this weekend has already slapped a title on it: Dylan becomes Katie’s secret spy. The comment sections are split right down the middle. Team Katie says a mother who watched Dylan move into Will’s life while he was still with Electra has earned her suspicion. Team Dylan says Katie is treating the girl like a pawn, and plenty of fans want Katie to focus on Logan and Bill Spencer before she loses her son for good.

The Spy Label Slips, the Weapon Label Sticks
Here is what the confirmed previews actually say. Dylan is sent to recruit, not to spy. Nothing scheduled has her smuggling sketches out of Forrester or reporting back on Ridge’s meetings. It is not even secret: Katie tells Hope about it, and on Thursday, October 1, Will cautions Dylan about Katie’s demands.
But the fans are dead right about the weapon, because Zende is a wounded man. On September 25 he snapped at Forrester over taking notes from RJ on a line “that Ridge gave his son,” and the spoilers give him surprising encouragement on Tuesday and a slow burn over being sidelined on Wednesday. Katie Logan Spencer found the softest spot in the building and aimed Dylan straight at it. The whispers about Dylan as Katie’s secret weapon started the minute Katie asked Hope, “Like Zende?”
Is Dylan Spying for Katie on Bold and the Beautiful?
No, not according to any confirmed spoiler. Dylan’s job is to talk Zende into jumping to Logan, and Katie is treating it as a loyalty test with a prize attached. The network promo shows Dylan finding Zende in the Forrester design office and telling him to take his talent elsewhere.
Here is the part the spy crowd is missing. The real spy risk is Zende. He has been working with RJ on the top secret Electra line since September 24, so if he walks out of Forrester, he walks out knowing exactly what Ridge’s family is building. Reading between the lines, that makes Zende the prize and Dylan the bait.
Katie Is Winning Logan and Losing Everyone Else
The advice fans keep giving Katie has teeth. Her sister Brooke Logan accused her back in June of stealing Hope, and the two have not made peace since. Will now calls Dylan his girlfriend over his mother’s objections. Even Bill told Will in August that Katie was being overprotective, though he allowed she was not wrong to be careful.
And here is the hypocrisy nobody at Logan will say out loud. Katie keeps painting Dylan as “a girl with a plan,” then hands her one. If Dylan delivers Zende, Katie Logan Spencer has to admit the girl is useful. If Dylan fails, Katie gets her excuse. My gut tells me it blows up either way, and Friday, October 2, when Hope and Katie lay everything on the table, is the day to watch.

Katie Built This Trap for Herself
Her defenders say everything is justified when you are protecting your child. That works for a mother and falls apart for a CEO. Katie Logan Spencer has a real case against Dylan, but the second she turned her son’s girlfriend into a recruiter, she stopped protecting Will and started using him. Will already compared her to Stephanie Forrester, and this week proves his point.
