Bold and the Beautiful recap September 25: Katie forbids Will’s romance, Melissa Dylan overhears every word, and Zende explodes at Ridge.

TL;DR: Katie told Will that Stephanie was right about Brooke, then forbade his romance with Melissa Dylan while Dylan heard every word. At Forrester, Zende exploded at Ridge over the Electra line.
Katie Put a Price Tag on the Spencer Name
The Bold and the Beautiful recap September 25 belongs to Katie Logan Spencer, who spent the half hour deciding who is good enough to be a Spencer. At Logan, she told Will Spencer he needs a woman worth fighting for and can do much better than Melissa “Miss” Dylan. “Trust me when I say, she is not Spencer quality!”
Will asked whether she looks down on Dylan for not having money, and reminded her that she and Brooke Logan did not come from money either. Katie said they grew up with character, then turned on Brooke, who she said threw it all away chasing men, even one married to Brooke’s own sister. Melissa Dylan, Katie said, has that same hunger. “That’s why she’s not Spencer quality and never will be.”

Katie Logan Spencer Said Stephanie Was Right
Will said Dylan is not Brooke. Katie called her a distraction from Electra Forrester, so Will reached for the heaviest name in the family. Compare Dylan to Brooke, he warned, and he will compare his mother to Stephanie Forrester, who mistreated Brooke for years.
Katie did not flinch. Stephanie was right, she said. Stephanie protected her husband and her son from Brooke, and Katie will protect Will from Melissa Dylan. On Thursday we said Katie was starting to sound like Stephanie. We did not expect her to agree out loud.
“Dylan isn’t good for you, honey.” Will shot back, “What? And Electra is?!” Dylan makes him happy, he said.
Darcy Told Her Daughter to Stop Asking Permission
At Dylan’s place, Darcy Dylan could not get over her daughter dating a Spencer. Dylan admitted Katie’s blessing would mean so much, and Darcy said she does not need it as long as she has Will. Hoping to meet Bill Spencer herself, Darcy coached her daughter on how to act, and when Deacon Sharpe texted Dylan, Darcy made a flirty crack.
Zende Exploded Over the Electra Line
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester told a meeting the Electra line has to stay quiet, because it could pull them out of the hole Logan put them in, and RJ Forrester agreed. Zende Forrester Dominguez sat there stewing over Hope Logan Spencer leaving for Logan and killing Hope for the Future.
RJ said Zende can put his skills to work on the Electra line. “Your line,” Zende snipped. Hope for the Future was the pinnacle of his career, and now he takes notes from the boss’s son. By the end Zende had exploded, and Ridge was shouting that they will not stand a chance against the Spencers if they keep fighting each other. Why Did Katie Forbid Will’s Relationship With Dylan on Bold and the Beautiful?
Katie called it protection, but she talked about money, ambition and Brooke. She never said Luna. Dylan was behind the wheel of the car that killed Luna Nozawa in November 2025, while Luna was pregnant with Will’s baby. It was ruled an accident, and Will has known since that week.
Here is what nobody else is connecting. A Logan sister just told her son that Stephanie was right about Brooke, while across town Stephanie’s own son was shouting about the Spencers. The only Spencer by birth in either fight was Will, and he was the one arguing the name should not matter.
Melissa Dylan Heard Every Word
Back at Logan, Katie accused Dylan of being manipulative and of betraying her best friend to get to Will. Will said nothing happened until he saw Electra kissing RJ. Katie asked whether he is using protection, then said people like Brooke and Dylan will do whatever it takes to get what they want.
That is when Dylan walked in and heard Katie say she will do anything to hold on to Will, including using her sexuality. Will, not knowing she was there, called Dylan his girlfriend again. Katie scoffed, called her a rebound, and said it flat out: “I forbid this relationship.”
Dylan turned to go, and Will called, “Wait.” She shook her head. “I don’t belong here. I’m clearly not wanted.” Will told her she belongs there with him, while over his shoulder Katie rolled her eyes.
My gut says Katie lost this fight the second Melissa Dylan heard it. Will can shrug off snobbery, not his girlfriend overhearing it. And next week’s preview has Katie handing Dylan the job of recruiting Zende for Logan. Don’t be surprised if the girl Katie forbade on Friday becomes the one Katie needs before the week is out.

Katie Picked Stephanie’s Side and Lost the Room
Katie has a real reason to worry about Dylan, and she keeps choosing the wrong one. Money and Brooke are arguments Will already won on Friday, and Dylan heard her lose them.
