Sydney flipped on the spot. She warned they could both go to prison and begged him to let the FDA investigation play out without volunteering a thing. EJ did not blink. He said Sarah once blamed herself for Destiny, and he claimed he is only protecting his free clinic. The two traded threats about a loan and about Dominic Marino before Xander left. Nobody has proven a thing against EJ yet, and he knows it.

At the Salem Inn, Leo Stark was moving a stash of counterfeit Gabi Chic bags when Philip Kiriakis walked in. Leo laid out his plan to expose EJ, and Philip wanted in. Follow the money, not the supply chain, he said, because knockoff profits like these tend to get gambled and laundered away. Philip knows a thing or two about gambling.

In the square, Chanel asked Gabi Hernandez whether she would run DiMera again if things were to shift soon. Gabi understood why she asked and still said no.
