B&B’s Zende Forrester Dominguez has a job offer from Logan and a plan from Forrester. Is the newest Logan hire really a double agent?

A Designer With A Very Believable Reason To Leave
Zende Forrester Dominguez is the rare man with a believable motive to switch sides, which makes him the perfect cover. When Hope Logan walked, he told his uncle Ridge Forrester that being her lead designer was the honor of his career and his dreams left with her. Now he takes notes from Ridge’s son, and he has been telling anyone who’ll listen that he feels demoted.
He was gracious for exactly one sentence when Ridge’s son called him an incredible designer, then fired back, “As long as I’m taking your orders.”
Ridge handled it the way Ridge handles everything, by insisting Zende was family and ordering him to stop thinking about Hope. Zende answered that the whole mess was Ridge’s fault. A man who says that to his uncle’s face has either given up on Forrester or is a better actor than anybody has noticed.
Zende also keeps rereading Hope’s texts. On October 1 he studied a photo of the two of them on his phone before Melissa Dylan walked in. A man who truly wanted out would have deleted the thread.

The Forresters Have The Motive And The Leverage
Brooke Logan is hurting in a way that makes espionage look sensible. Hope stopped picking up her calls, Brooke calls her own sister a stranger, and her voicemail saying she misses her daughter shows how badly she wants a window into the other side. Hope admitted she misses her mother too, which makes a go-between very tempting. A Zende inside Logan would be a window with a Forrester name on it.
Then there’s Ridge, who has a war with Logan, a rival fragrance line to beat, and a nephew who wants a better title. Imagine the offer: take the job, tell us what Katie Logan and Hope are cooking, and the couture line you’ve been dreaming of is yours. For Zende Forrester Dominguez, that’s a promotion. For Ridge, it’s a spy with a key to the stitching room.
The spoilers for Thursday, October 8 have Ridge and his father preparing to fully back the new line Ridge’s son is running, which gives Ridge a very good reason to keep his unhappy designer close, busy and flattered. Promise a man his own lane and he will carry almost anything through the door.
Katie’s Loyalty Test Could Be The Trojan Horse
Katie never considered that her own scheme could be the delivery truck. She ordered Dylan to talk Zende into joining Logan, called it a first step toward proving her loyalty to the Spencers, and told her to finish the job. On October 2, Zende walked into the Logan office, heard Hope apologize, shouted that his career had changed because of her, and listened as Katie offered a fresh start.
The what’s-next promo has him arriving to start the talks, with Deke Sharpe welcoming him aboard and Zende reminding everyone he hasn’t given an answer. On Friday, October 9, the spoilers say he’s put on the spot while Katie and Hope feel optimistic about Logan’s next power move. Could Zende Forrester Dominguez say yes, smile, and carry Logan’s secrets back to Forrester in his coat pocket? If he does, Dylan finally earns the Spencer blessing she has been begging for, and she earns it by walking a Forrester loyalist through Logan’s front door.
