General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Challenges Justine Turner as Pentonville Fallout Erupts
General Hospital spoilers: Sonny and Justine face off Monday as he asks what happened to innocent until proven guilty. Does she believe him?
SONNY CORINTHOS WANTS JUSTINE TO PRESUME HIM INNOCENT, AND SHE’S THE PROSECUTOR
TL;DR: On Monday, October 5, Sonny answers Justine’s demand for the truth with a challenge of his own: whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Josslyn goes rogue the same day, and by Friday Dante’s investigation hits a wall.
Sonny Turns Justine’s Demand Into a Challenge
These General Hospital spoilers put Sonny and Justine face to face on Monday, October 5, and he isn’t giving her the answer she came for. Sonny Corinthos pushes back hard and asks Justine Turner what happened to innocent until proven guilty. It’s a fair question. It is also not a denial.
Remember how Friday ended. Sonny was drinking alone when Justine tracked him down, and he figured she was there because she still believed in him. Instead, she told him to look her in the eye and swear he had nothing to do with what happened to Curtis. You can relive the day Sonny lost his son and maybe his girlfriend right here.
So Sonny does what Sonny does when he’s cornered. He turns the question around and puts her on the spot. Cornered Sonny has never been safe Sonny, and this time the person in front of him is the woman he’s been sneaking around with for weeks.

Justine Has Everything to Lose
Here’s what makes this delicious. Justine is an assistant district attorney running for DA, and presumption of innocence is the rule she lives by in court. Sonny is asking a prosecutor to apply it to the man she’s secretly dating. Her career and her heart are now sitting on the same table.
And she’s already paying for it. On Friday, Jordan Ashford told Justine that if she keeps seeing Sonny, they’re not friends anymore. Jordan has known about the romance for weeks, and we’ve already laid out how Jordan’s secret could destroy them both.
Then there’s the evidence. Police pulled footage from the Pentonville visiting room showing Vito and Sully, two men who work for Sonny Corinthos. Sonny admits he sent Vito to Sully, but swears the order was to protect Sidwell, not touch him. Dante Falconeri didn’t buy it, and Sonny threw his own son out with “I don’t want a son like you.”
Did Sonny Order the Pentonville Attack on General Hospital?
No, and that’s the twist that makes Monday sting. Ava Jerome and Drew Cain set the whole thing up, then paid Vito to leave town on September 30. We saw Drew’s fingerprints on this frame days before the show confirmed it.
For once, Sonny Corinthos is telling the truth, and innocent until proven guilty is the one thing nobody in his life will give him. Look closer at that footage, too. It shows a meeting Sonny already admitted ordering. What it can’t show is who changed the order, which is exactly the hole Ava and Drew built their plan around.

Josslyn Goes Rogue as Dante’s Case Hits a Wall
Justine isn’t Sonny’s only problem. Josslyn Jacks takes matters into her own hands on Monday. On Friday she promised Trina Robinson that “Sonny’s not just gonna get away with this,” and she told Trina she joined the WSB to stop him. Trina’s father, Curtis Ashford, is the man who got beaten stepping in at Pentonville. On Tuesday, Hudson tries to talk Joss down.
Watch Thursday closely. Carly Spencer stands by Sonny, just days after her own daughter declared war on him. We broke down who could actually clear Sonny already. On Friday, Sonny reassures Gio Palmieri, and Dante’s investigation hits a roadblock. Our two weeks of spoilers has every twist on the calendar.
My gut tells me Justine walks out of Monday without the answer she wanted, and the romance starts to crack. Circulating spoiler chatter says Josslyn wants a WSB assignment aimed squarely at Sonny Corinthos. If I know these writers, Dante’s dead end is no accident either, since one of the two men on that footage has already skipped town.

Should Justine believe Sonny, or walk away while her campaign is still standing? Leave your answer in the comments right here on this page.

Sonny’s Challenge Puts Justine’s Career and Heart on Trial
Sonny is right about the principle and wrong about the audience. He’s asking a prosecutor to look past footage of his own men, while her friend Jordan walks away and a WSB agent is gunning for him. Justine can’t win this one. If she believes him, she risks her campaign. If she doesn’t, she loses the one man in town who is actually innocent.
We’re betting Justine picks her career, at least for now, and Sonny finds out who his real friends are by Thursday. Tell us whose side you’re on over on our Facebook page.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are Sonny and Justine still together on General Hospital?
Yes, for now. Sonny and Justine Turner are dating in secret while she serves as an assistant district attorney and runs for DA. Jordan knows about them and cut Justine off on October 2. That same day Justine demanded Sonny tell her the truth, and Monday’s challenge puts the romance to the test.
Why is Josslyn going after Sonny on General Hospital?
Curtis Ashford, Trina’s father, was beaten at Pentonville in an attack carried out in Sonny’s name. Josslyn promised Trina that Sonny won’t get away with it and said she joined the WSB to stop him. She doesn’t know Ava and Drew set the whole thing up.
Does Dante find proof against Sonny on General Hospital?
Not this week. Dante has footage of Vito and Sully, two men who work for Sonny, meeting before the attack. On Friday, October 9, his investigation hits a roadblock. What stops him has not been revealed.
