Curtis Points a Finger at Sonny

At General Hospital, Justine Turner and Joe Fitzpatrick cornered Curtis Ashford in his hospital bed to demand an account of the prison chaos, and Curtis wasted no time: one of his attackers name-dropped Sonny Corinthos as the man giving orders. He laid out the full sequence of the beating for them, and once the interrogators cleared out, Ric Lansingspotted them heading out, then pivoted straight into asking Elizabeth Baldwin to dinner. Nothing like a beating and possible attempted murder to set the romantic mood.

Down the hall, Justine reminded Joe that Curtis’s track record with evidence isn’t spotless, so hard proof would need to land before anyone went after Corinthos. Justine has apparently forgotten she is one making questionable choices when it comes to objectivity here.

Then Monet Mitchell sauntered into Curtis’s room, introducing herself as being from Alexis Davis‘s law office and offering to represent him, while also mentioning he probably should have taken the plea deal in the first place. Curtis, unconvinced that a total stranger deserved input on his legal choices from a hospital bed, wanted to know her real motive. Before Monet could offer one, Liz swept her back out the door so her patient could actually recover.

Out in the hallway, Justine’s mind drifted back to a moment Sonny once vowed he’d never lay a hand on Sidwell, right as Dante Falconeri resurfaced with a grim update: the medical team is genuinely unsure Jenz Sidwell survives this. Justine passed along what Curtis said, and the two batted around whether it holds up or is a frame job. Dante zeroed in on how badly she wants his dad cleared, and Justine swore she’s chasing nothing but the truth. Believable, Justine. Very believable.

Meanwhile at GH, Liz tried talking Dante down, arguing Sidwell has collected enemies for years and one beating hardly proves Sonny ordered it. Dante wasn’t buying the innocence angle so easily, especially once he circled back to Sidwell’s own history of rigging a bombing at Sonny’s home, a grudge that tends to simmer for a very long time in this family.

By the time evening rolled around, Joe circled back to update Justine and Dante on his sit-down with Sonny. Ric had blocked him at every turn, but Joe had unearthed one crucial thread: the same man showed up both on Curtis’s visitor log and inside the prison as an inmate. Dante recognized both faces instantly and confirmed they answer to Sonny, and suddenly the accusation started looking a whole lot less like a grudge and a whole lot more like a case file.

Sonny Insists His Hands Are Clean

Earlier, Rocco Falconeri wondered aloud whether Sonny thought there was any chance of a truce between him and Drew Cain, since Scout Cain is currently saddled with a nanny who narcs to Drew about her every move, a setup that will absolutely set Alexis Davis off. Rocco branded the whole mess an absolute disaster, and Sonny, offering zero reassurance, figured it wasn’t likely to get better anytime soon. He warned Rocco to start mentally preparing for a future where Scout is simply off-limits.

That tender moment got interrupted fast when Ric barreled in, sending Danny Morgan darting out, to report that Curtis and Sidwell had both been savagely beaten. Sonny denied giving any order to touch either man. Joe arrived next to grill him face to face, revealing that the men responsible had directly named Sonny as the one who sent them.

Once the detective cleared out, Sonny came clean about his real plan: Vito had been posted to watch over Sidwell and step in the moment trouble showed up. A hurt or dead Sidwell benefits Sonny not at all. Ric floated his own read on the situation: Sully must have gone rogue and done precisely the opposite of his orders, leaving Sonny looking like a man caught in his own lie at the worst possible time.

Carly Gets a Timely Rescue

At Lucas Jones‘s new place, Lucas put Carly Spencer on the spot about her feelings for Valentin, and right before she had to actually answer, Britt Westbourne showed up brandishing wine. Britt was less than delighted at the sight of Carly, who smartly declined to take the bait. Carly wasn’t complaining about the interruption, joking on her way out that the timing could not have worked out better for her. Britt, meanwhile, cracked that a little sparring with Lucas’s sister-in-law might have actually been fun.

Once Carly took off, Lucas griped about the bargain-bin champagne and the digs aimed at his sister, and Britt warned she’d walk off with the whole bottle if he kept insulting it, which got him to relent and pour a glass. The two dug in for a proper venting session, with Britt unloading about Jason Morgan and how little he trusted her, and Lucas backing up her decision to walk away. Round two of drinks brought a firm new philosophy from Britt: romance is officially dead to her. Casual hookups, however, remain fully open for business, a point she underscored by tipping the bottle straight to her lips.

Jason Tries Reasoning With Danny

At the boathouse, Jason came across a brooding Danny still reeling from Charlotte’s boarding school sentence and offered his condolences. Danny felt the whole thing was grossly unfair and gave Jason the full backstory. Jason drew a quiet line between that mess and Danny’s earlier attempt to make off with Tracy’s classic car, but Danny argued his hand was forced; Charlotte had to be stopped somehow. Jason noted that risk-taking has become a running theme for both of them lately, which set Danny off: there used to be a stretch when the two of them were all either had. A tense pause followed, then Jason offered an apology, conceding that maybe a little space between them wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Later, Jason stopped in at Carly’s and gave her the full rundown of his conversation with Danny. The pair speculated on how long Charlotte’s exile would actually last and laughed darkly over how bulletproof every teenager believes themselves to be, admitting they’d have pulled the same stunts for each other back in the day. Jason has no illusions that Danny will keep his nose clean going forward, and frankly, the track record backs him up.

Back at the boathouse, Rocco attempted an apology over Charlotte’s exile, and Danny shut it down hard, pressing him on how exactly he planned to reverse it and floating a pointed request that Lulu step in and undo the whole thing. Rocco countered that keeping Charlotte away from town is genuinely the safer call, particularly given how close things came to disaster with Drew, and Danny fired back that the real betrayal here was his own. The former best friends spiraled into a genuine falling-out, proof that Charlotte’s departure is claiming casualties well beyond Charlotte.

Michael Talks Jordan Off a Ledge

At Aurora, Michael Corinthos clocked Jordan Ashford zoning out mid-workday and got her to admit she’d accidentally brushed against an old injury and winced through the pain. He offered up his own experience with lingering phantom sensations from his burns, while Jordan silently replayed Monet’s earlier jab about how off-putting her scars supposedly are. Comparing scar notes apparently counts as team bonding at this company.

They shifted gears to work, with Michael floating the idea of sending Jordan to handle a European staffing problem given how much better her French is than his, but Jordan stalled before finally opening up about how self-conscious the scars have made her feel. Michael felt awful hearing it, Jordan started apologizing for being unprofessional, and Michael waved that off entirely, refusing to pressure her into the trip anyway. What followed turned into a genuinely tender back-and-forth about looks and how the wounds nobody can see are the ones that never fully close, with Michael assuring her she’s stunning no matter what. The mood shattered when a call came through that left Jordan visibly shaken, and Michael immediately reached for the phone to get Dr. Mueller on the line. Something about that call spelled trouble.

Jordan raced straight to the hospital the moment she learned about the attack on Curtis and pinned the blame on Sonny without hesitation. Outside, Monet pressed her business card into Liz’s hand and asked her to deliver it to Curtis, evidently undaunted by having already been evicted from his room once that day.
