Wyatt’s Love Life Puts Quinn Back in the Conversation
Fans want a Quinn Fuller return on Bold and the Beautiful, and this week the casting chatter got loud. The word is that Wyatt’s mother is headed back to Los Angeles for whatever drama her son is about to walk into. Here is the honest version before anyone books her a suite: CBS has not announced a return, and Rena Sofer has not said a word about one.
What is real is the reason everyone is suddenly saying her name. A brand-new romance is on the horizon for Wyatt Spencer, according to this month’s couples previews, and the woman has not been named. Any son of Quinn’s who falls in love should check the bushes for his mother.
Wyatt has been back in town since May, when Bill Spencer summoned him home to get the Hope for the Future diamond. The Loyalty Test That Sounded Just Like His Parents
Will told Wyatt that Katie Logan Spencer is making his girlfriend, Melissa “Miss” Dylan, prove her loyalty to the Spencers by luring a top Forrester designer over to Logan. Wyatt called it a good idea, a way to see if she can handle a family that wants to win at all costs. Will told him he sounded like their old man.
Here’s what nobody said out loud. Wyatt didn’t get that win at all costs streak from Bill alone. Quinn Fuller once kidnapped Wyatt’s own half brother and shoved a Forrester into the Seine, all to protect her son’s love life. A man who cheers on a loyalty test was raised by the queen of them.
Is Quinn Fuller Returning to The Bold and the Beautiful?
Not officially. There is no casting news and no airdate for Quinn, and every report pushing her return hedges in the same breath. Quinn has been off the canvas since August 2022, when she left Los Angeles and Carter Walton behind. Rena Sofer later wrapped her run as Lois on General Hospital, and in August 2025 she told fans she and her husband were leaving Los Angeles for “quieter and calmer times” in New York State.
So why won’t the talk die? Because the show keeps saying her name. In April, Electra Forrester said there would be no Forrester jewelry line without Quinn, the woman who founded it, and we flagged Quinn’s shadow over Electra’s jewelry plans right then. Electra’s own jewelry line got the green light in September, and on Monday Wyatt was talking jewelry with Will. The writers have Quinn’s old business, Quinn’s son and Quinn’s ex all in play at once.
The Mystery Woman Everyone Is Betting On
The name on every list is Darcy Dylan, Melissa’s single, flirty mother, who blew into town in September and made eyes at Deacon on day one. Nothing on screen has paired her with Wyatt yet. But Kelly Sullivan, who plays Darcy, lit up when an interviewer floated the idea, and her reaction to a Wyatt pairing said it all: “Oh my god, that would be so much fun. I could see you two.”
Now picture it. Darcy is broke, bold and brand new in town, the exact kind of woman Quinn would decide is after the Spencer money. If I know these writers, a Quinn Fuller return would not come with a welcome basket. It would come with a background check on Darcy and a plan.
The Table Is Already Set for Wyatt’s Mother
Don’t be surprised if Wyatt’s love life is what finally brings her home. Shauna Fulton, Quinn’s best friend, came back to town alongside Wyatt in May, and Quinn’s name keeps landing in the dialogue. If the show wants a Quinn Fuller return, every piece is in place.
Whether it is Sofer or a new face in the role, my gut tells me she would walk straight into a Spencer family already fighting over Katie’s loyalty tests. Will is on one side, his mother is on the other, and Wyatt just picked the wrong one. Quinn would pick a side too, and it would be her son’s.
