GENERAL HOSPITAL RECAP: ANNA AND CARLY GET HONEST
TL;DR: This General Hospital Recap catches Anna Devane and Carly Spencer swapping hard truths over Josslyn and Valentin, Lulu Spencer poking at Drew Cain’s miracle, Alexis Davis and Drew squaring off, the kids sneaking around, and Gio and Emma house hunting.

Anna and Carly Clear the Air
Anna Devane strolls into Carly Spencer‘s Metro Court office one day after evicting Faison from her head, which makes her the ideal audience for a worried mom. Carly confesses that Josslyn Jacks now dreams of a WSB career, a shock to Anna, who figured Joss was busy steering JJE. Then comes the big ask: would Anna take Joss under her wing? Carly has no idea her daughter has been scheming behind everyone’s back, which is precisely the sort of detail a mentor might want in the file.
Anna, bless her, believes in full disclosure. She admits she once attempted to kill Britt Westbourne and lays out her reasons. Carly backs away immediately, apologetic and done with the idea, though Anna agrees a mother’s worry about Joss is fair. Her real obstacle, she says, is that she no longer trusts her own instincts. Carly gets that better than anyone, having authored a few legendary misjudgments herself.
Then Carly pivots. Her heart aches over what Anna survived, and she urges her to accept help from Valentin Cassadine. Anna answers that chapter is closed and she must wrestle her demons alone. Why does Carly care so much? Because she sees Joss’s future in Anna. Anna presses: does Carly truly want Valentin sitting across from a woman he once loved? Carly’s reply is pure soap gold. It would make him happy. Somewhere, a therapist felt a chill.
Should Anna take the mentor job, or should Joss find a role model with fewer scandals? Email us your theory at amber@soapoperamagazine.com, we want every wild guess.

Lulu Smells a Story
Over at the hospital, Elizabeth Baldwin and Lucas Jones squirm over Sidwell rejoining the land of the living. Liz reveals that Lulu Spencer tried to wangle a visit. Both count the days until the man returns to a cell, then drift toward vigilante talk and agree Sonny Corinthos may be mixed up in it. Liz frets about the toll on Dante.
Lulu, meanwhile, corners Drew Cain inside Bad Jen Cafรฉ with a pitch. She wants his comeback for a feature. What fueled his determination? How did speech and movement return so fast? She hails him as a marvel, and he credits stubborn fighting and decent shape. Lulu slides a waiver across the table, and he signs off on her chatting with his doctors. Brave choice for a man with secrets.
Later on the ward, she tries to nudge a nurse into handing over his chart. Liz intercepts and phones Drew. Afterward, Liz tells Lulu how swiftly staff recognized the stroke. Lulu then asks about Willow Tait, who stayed by his side throughout, and wonders whether recovering at home was standard. Lucas says no, though Willow is a nurse. Liz suspects she wanted Drew to enjoy a fuller life. Talk turns to how rarely locked-in patients bounce back, and Lucas recalls Jack Brennan, whose case echoes Drew’s. Lulu’s eyes sparkle. Everyone agrees it deserves a closer look, which is code for somebody is about to dig.

Alexis and Drew Throw Down
Molly Lansing-Davis hauls Alexis Davis to a workout for her bone health, and Alexis lifts dumbbells with the zeal of a woman facing a root canal. Then she spots Dante Falconeri and Rocco Falconeri chatting about the punch from Danny. Alexis blows her top, the guys shrug, and Molly waves it off as boys being boys. Alexis disagrees and blames dads who parent too little.
Her mood does not improve. She bashes Drew, branding him a bloodsucker, only for him to materialize behind her with the news that he suspected she was poisoning Scout against him. Alexis and Molly deny everything. Drew warns that one violation of the restraining order and Scout is on a plane to boarding school. Each accuses the other of turning the girl against the world. Molly tries to referee. Drew repeats his threat and storms out, leaving Alexis clutching a weight and picturing a much worse use for it. Drew then calls Lulu: he is free to talk. Perfect timing, in all the wrong ways.
The Kids Go Rogue
Scout Cain sneaks over to see Danny Morgan behind her father’s back. She regrets the thug remark, and he shrugs it off. She nudges him to repair things with Rocco, and he wants to know why she cares. Their shared history, she says. Danny would happily get back together, but he insists Rocco crossed a line.
At the cafรฉ, Rocco greets Scout and promises he will never pressure her to pick a side. He is pleased Scout and Danny are talking again. Inside, they vow to keep Drew clueless and Rocco recounts the gym showdown. If Drew learns the two are an item, he will ban any visits. Later, Dante checks on Danny and reminds him that Rocco is his brother in everything but blood. Everyone hides something from Drew, and Drew hides something from everyone. Family tradition.

Gio and Emma Go Apartment Hunting
Inside the Quartermaine kitchen, Gio Palmieri and Emma Scorpio-Drake scroll listings for a place of their own and learn that Port Charles rent is rude. Tracy Quartermaine sweeps in with extra demands, including elite security plus a valet, easily the most Tracy sentence ever spoken. She offers Gio a room upstairs, but the couple wants their own address.
Tracy blesses the plan, then admits regret over the way the Sonny chapter closed. She knows it stings and had hoped to shield him. A hug follows. When Gio leaves to answer his phone, Tracy murmurs her classic I-warned-you line. Emma credits her for waiting until he is out of earshot. Exhausted, she turns in, Gio comes back, and the search resumes.
