Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, October 8, 2026 give Joy Wesley the day off, and after Wednesday she has earned it. Sarah Horton referred Joy to a trainer to build her upper body for the wheelchair, and the trainer who walked in was Tate Black. He apologized for blowing up at her about Stephanie and Alex the last time they met, reminded her that his dad was once married to her sister Chloe, and promised they would have her walking in no time.

Joy listened with a calm she had to work hard to keep. Then a message about Rachel pulled Tate away, he left his business card, and the second he was gone Joy declared herself back in business, wiggled her toes and joked that she needed a pedicure. Tate saw none of it. Thursday’s slate has no Joy or Tate scene at all, because the day belongs to Marlena and a shocking confession to Belle.

Joy Is Hiding in Plain Sight

Our daily recaps have the whole trail. Joy hopped out of her hospital bed when nobody was looking, swallowed her father’s muscle relaxers before her nerve test, and talked her way into Alex Kiriakis‘s guest room with baby Kelsey. Nobody froze out Stephanie Johnson on that decision, either. She rolled her eyes, then nodded yes.

So Joy is hiding that she can move her legs, and she just shook hands with a man whose whole job is watching how a body moves. My gut says that is a bigger risk to her than any doctor with a chart. The fan chatter has already cast Tate as the hero who blows her scheme wide open, but nothing in the spoilers puts him anywhere near it. Some previews even say Joy dodges exposure for now.

Does Tate Expose Joy on Days of Our Lives?

Not on any day the spoilers cover. Thursday has no Joy scene, and Friday’s only Joy beat is that she is not happy with Kayla Johnson‘s discharge instructions, while Stephanie and Alex steal a private moment. The previews also tease Stephanie about to walk in on Joy standing over Kelsey, with no day attached.

Here is the part nobody is saying out loud. The only person on record getting close is Stephanie, not Tate. Tate took Joy at her word and promised to get her walking, the funniest promise in Salem right now. Joy Wesley does not need a trainer to move those legs. She needs everyone to keep believing she can’t.

Marlena Shocks Belle as Jada Questions EJ

Thursday’s biggest swing belongs to Marlena Evans, who makes a shocking confession to her daughter Belle Black. The spoilers do not say what she confesses. Reading between the lines, Marlena has been sitting on Dominic Marino‘s birth certificate, the one that lists her and Stefano as his parents. If that is the confession, Belle is about to learn about the same piece of paper that has kept her mother up at night.

Her questions grow out of her session with Johnny DiMera, who gave the police a statement about the Coriseal contamination.
