General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Cain’s Lawsuit Against Lulu Spencer Could Cost Harrison Chase Phoebe
General Hospital spoilers: Willow Cain is suing Lulu Spencer over the Invader exposé, and the fight could cost Harrison Chase custody of Phoebe.
WILLOW CAIN IS SUING OVER A STORY SHE KNOWS IS TRUE, AND LULU SPENCER’S SOURCE JUST CALLED IT A DREAM
TL;DR: Willow Cain is moving toward a libel suit against Lulu Spencer and the Invader over the exposé that said she drugged Drew, a story she admitted is true. Sidwell recanted on October 9, Ric Lansing takes on a new client next Friday, and the man pushing the suit, Harrison Chase, is the one a single Yuri photo could cost Phoebe.
Chase Pushed Willow to Sue Lulu Spencer and the Invader for Libel
These General Hospital spoilers for Willow Cain start in the gatehouse on Friday, October 9. Harrison Chase told her to sue Lulu Spencer and the Invader for libel, and he put it bluntly: “Do not let the Quartermaines win.” Britt Westbourne argued for one short denial, reminding Willow she was on trial less than a year ago. Willow sent Britt away, and Chase promised, “I’ll be with you every step of the way.”
The exposé that ran Thursday under the headline “Motion Denied: Congresswoman Gives Husband Paralytic Drug For Months!” is true, and Willow admitted as much to Britt the day it landed. She suspects Michael Corinthos wants her to push back so the story looks more credible. The weekly preview says she moves forward with the lawsuit anyway.

Lulu Spencer’s Only Source Says He Dreamed the Whole Interview
Lulu got her story by posing as a nurse and recording a heavily medicated Jenz Sidwell on October 6, a sting we called the day before it aired. On Friday Sidwell told Britt he thought her visit was a dream, then told Dante Falconeri it was nothing but lies. Britt had just dangled a way out for him. The man who supplied the paralytic now says Cullum got it for him and the rest never happened.
That is the hole Willow Cain’s lawyers will aim at. Drew Cain, the only other witness, is not quoted, a gap Justine Turner and Dante both noticed Friday, and Drew signed Lulu’s waiver expecting a recovery profile. Monday, October 12, Drew confronts Lulu. Tuesday, Dante encourages her. Lulu needs a fighter.
The official line: on Thursday, October 15, Sonny and Ric plot, and on Friday, October 16, Ric Lansing takes on a new client. Spoiler chatter puts Lulu in his office, because she needs a lawyer who will get down in the mud. One catch. Ric is Sonny Corinthos‘s half-brother and his lawyer, and the Sidwell tape that named Willow also named Sonny. Would Ric defend a recording that accuses his own brother?

Is Willow Cain Suing Lulu Spencer on General Hospital?
Not yet on screen, but she is heading there. Chase has urged the suit, Britt has argued against it, and the weekly preview says Willow moves forward with her lawsuit. Libel is written defamation, so the “defamation suit” label fits. The police are circling too: Joe questions Willow on Thursday, October 15, the same day Chase ponders his future.
Here is what nobody else has put together. In a real courtroom, truth is a complete defense, and a sitting congresswoman must prove the paper acted with reckless disregard for the facts. A suit opens discovery, meaning depositions, and the people who know what happened to Drew are Willow Cain, Drew, Britt and Nina. Suing over a true story hands Lulu’s side subpoena power. That is why Britt begged her to go quiet.

Yuri’s Camera Is Waiting, and Tracy Quartermaine Built the Trap for Brook Lynn
On September 23, Tracy Quartermaine asked the butler, Yuri, to help push Chase and Willow into an affair; he objected but promised loyalty. The next day Tracy told Michael she wants Chase caught in adultery so Brook Lynn Quartermaine wins full custody of Phoebe, the scheme we exposed the night it aired. On October 5 Yuri told Tracy he will keep watch on Willow and Chase, and Brook Lynn vowed to do whatever it takes to keep her baby.
Chase’s legal separation is not final. Monet Mitchell only started the paperwork on October 5, and his plan is 50/50 custody, the split we mapped before it happened. Every public step beside Willow is the evidence Tracy ordered, and a lawsuit puts his name on the coverage. Spoiler chatter says Yuri snaps a compromising photo of the two and sends it straight to Tracy. No photo has aired, but Wednesday Tracy voices her concern and Brook Lynn gets food for thought.
My gut says Willow Cain sees the trap better than Chase does. Friday she cried that she will not add her problems to his. Reading between the lines, the lawsuit is Chase choosing Willow in public while his custody case is open, and if a photo lands, the suit becomes Brook Lynn’s exhibit A. Mystery man Jude is still due this month with the claim on Phoebe the writers promised, and the fight is tracked on our two weeks of General Hospital spoilers.

Willow Is Suing the Truth, and Chase Will Pay the Bill
Willow spent months hiding what she did to Drew. Now she is about to put it in front of a judge, with a source who calls it a dream and a victim who is not quoted. If I know these writers, the suit is not about winning. It is about keeping Chase at her side until Tracy’s camera clicks.
Team Willow says Lulu ambushed a drugged man in a hospital bed and deserves the suit. Team Lulu says the truth is the truth, however you get it. Pick a side on our Facebook page.
