STEFFY FORRESTER FINNEGAN TELLS FINN SHE HAS DONE SOMETHING

TL;DR: Steffy Forrester Finnegan reminded Finn their marriage is based on the truth, then said she has done something and prays he can forgive her. Katie refused Brooke’s hug and threw her out.

Steffy Asks Finn to Forgive Her

Steffy Forrester Finnegan ended the week on the Bold and the Beautiful recap October 16 with the sentence she has dodged for weeks. She reminded Finn that their marriage is based on telling the truth, then said she has done something, and she prays he can forgive her. Freeze frame.

She never said what she did. Not the surrogacy story she and Carter built for Daphne, and not the truth about the baby she believes is Carter’s. Just a pacing wife, a husband home from his trip, and a whole weekend to wonder which version Finn gets.

One day after Katie told Brooke she is not backing down, the Logan sisters had their last word too, and it ended with Brooke shown the door. Keep our Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the next two weeks handy, because Monday picks up at that cliff house.

Finn Comes Home to a Wife Who Hopes So

Steffy got the text that Finn was headed home from the airport, and she came apart. Flashbacks hit, and she struggled to breathe. Alone at the cliff house, she asked herself, “Who am I? How could I have let this happen.”

Then John Finnegan walked in, wrapped her in a hug and asked what happened while he was away. “Give me the good stuff,” he said. When he asked, “Is everything OK?” she looked down at the floor and whispered, “I hope so.”

Steffy Forrester Finnegan finally admitted something is wrong. Through tears, she told Finn how much she loves him and their family. Finn insisted she could never let him down, and Steffy hoped he was right. The look on her face said she already knows the answer.

Carter Hides His Panic From Daphne

At Forrester, Carter Walton was having flashbacks of his own. When Daphne Rose Walton came in, he covered, and she assumed he was upset about losing Zende. Carter let her believe it and made cryptic statements about “mistakes that can’t be undone.”

Daphne worried about how Finn will react to the news of what they did while he was away. Carter insisted it will all work out, and he promised her their marriage is strong. Daphne said she does not want to come between Steffy and Finn. Reading between the lines, she has no idea how far between them she already stands.

What Did Steffy Tell Finn on Bold and the Beautiful?

Not the details, not yet. On October 16, Steffy Forrester Finnegan told Finn she has done something and prays he can forgive her, and the episode ended before she said what. If you read our take on Steffy’s choice between a lie and the truth, this is the moment she has to pick.

My gut tells me she reaches for the surrogacy story first, because it lets her confess a “something” without confessing the night with Carter. If I know these writers, Finn is a doctor who will start asking medical questions the minute she does.

Katie Logan Spencer Throws Brooke Out

Across town, Brooke Logan made her appeal at Logan, and Katie Logan Spencer was not buying. Brooke ranted that Katie took advantage of Eric and stole Hope, then demanded, “Who are you?” Katie exhaled, “For the love of God, Brooke.”

Brooke complained that Katie moved Liam, Hope and Beth into the Spencer Estate. “It hurts,” she said. Katie insisted she only offered Zende an opportunity he chose to take, just like Eric and Hope. She told Brooke she did this to herself and mocked Forrester for not being able to handle a little competition.

Then Brooke brought up their mother, Beth, and their late brother, Storm. Katie would not let her use them to shame her. Storm, whose heart still beats in Katie’s chest, would be proud of her, and Katie knows it with her whole heart. “What are we doing to each other?!” Brooke cried.

Brooke went in for a hug, and Katie balked, quoting Donna back at her: “You can’t just hug it out. She was right about that. Time for you to go, Brooke.”

Brooke walked out, and the minute the door closed, Katie wiped away tears. She won the argument and lost the sister she still loves.

Was Katie right to refuse that hug, or did she just push her sister away for good? Make your case in the comments right here.

Two Confessions and Only One Finished Sentence

Steffy Forrester Finnegan opened the door on the truth and left Finn standing in it all weekend. Asking for forgiveness before saying the crime is a gamble, and it only works if the next words are the whole story. Half a confession could cost her more than the lie did.

Katie, meanwhile, finished her sentence and cried anyway. My money says Steffy picks half the truth Monday and Katie picks pride again. Which one breaks first? Tell us over on our Facebook page.

QUICK ANSWERS

Did Steffy tell Finn the truth on Bold and the Beautiful? Not yet. On October 16, Steffy reminded Finn their marriage is based on telling the truth, said she has done something and said she prays he can forgive her. The episode ended before she said what she did, so Finn still does not know about the baby she believes is Carter’s.

Did Katie and Brooke hug it out? No. On October 16, Brooke went in for a hug and Katie balked, quoting Donna: “You can’t just hug it out.” She told Brooke, “Time for you to go, Brooke.” Brooke walked out of Katie’s office at Logan, and Katie wiped away tears.
