The Bold and the Beautiful
HOME IN A FEW HOURS! B&B’s Steffy Forrester Has Until Finn Gets Back to Pick Between a Lie That Cuts Deep and a Truth That Cuts Deeper
Steffy Forrester has two choices and Finn is almost home, so Bold and the Beautiful fans want to know which one will cost her more.
STEFFY FORRESTER RISKS HER MARRIAGE WHETHER SHE LIES OR CONFESSES
TL;DR: Steffy Forrester is out of time, because Finn is on his way home to L.A. while Carter keeps nudging her toward the lie, and neither lying nor confessing leaves her marriage standing. Follow the B&B spoilers to see which door she picks.

A Guilty Conscience With a Ticking Clock
Steffy Forrester is coming apart at the seams, and Carter Walton is the only person in Los Angeles still insisting the stitching will hold. She told him she is stressed out of her mind, asked how she is supposed to keep lying to her husband about the baby growing inside her, and reminded him that Finn already said she could not be the surrogate. Carter’s answer was to call the whole mistake a gift. Steffy agreed the baby is one, then pointed out that she still has to say all of it to her husband’s face.
The call from Finn landed like a cruel joke. He is on his way home to see her beautiful face, and in a few hours everything will be back to normal. Steffy told him never to question how much she loves him and hung up. When a man promises normal and you hang up on him, normal is already out of the building.

Door Number One Is a Very Pretty Trap
Lying looks tidy on paper. Steffy tells Finn she went through with the surrogacy, Carter keeps whispering that silence is the loving choice, and a baby gets handed to Daphne Rose on schedule. The trouble is that Finn said no, and this version of the story starts with Steffy admitting she did it anyway. Finn learns she defied him before the real secret even gets a turn.
Then there is the math, and Finn is a doctor who counts weeks for a living. The baby began in August, the night Steffy and Carter swore to take to their graves, while the cover story claims an October transfer. Carter says he has contacts who can smooth over the medical details, and Steffy has already worried aloud that everyone will say the baby came early. Even in a town that treats a pregnancy test like a plot device, that is a lot of rope.
Door Number Two Burns Down a Different House
Confessing is the clean option, until anyone looks at who gets scorched. Finn learns the baby belongs to Carter, and the night behind it landed in the same messy month that Steffy left her wedding rings behind and briefly separated from him. Daphne, who thanked Steffy for the most selfless gift anyone ever gave her, learns the gift came with a side of her own husband.
Steffy has already tried to break the news once. She told Daphne that what she and Carter did was wrong, and Daphne finished the sentence herself, decided they had only been shielding her from nerves, and went back to hugging the woman who betrayed her. Even when Steffy Forrester tells the truth, somebody talks her out of it.

Finn Gets the Final Word
The weekly spoilers say Steffy Forrester debates telling Finn the truth, which means the decision is nowhere near made. The preview has Finn home, asking what he missed, while Steffy keeps clutching her belly. “You can share anything with me,” he says, tender as ever, which is the cruelest line a man can deliver to a woman holding a secret that size.
Carter keeps arguing that the baby will be loved and cherished, and he is probably right about that. A loved baby will not repair a marriage built on a husband who got an edited version of events.

Pick a Door, Any Door
Is Steffy Forrester brave enough to hand Finn the truth before he asks, or will she lean on the lie because Carter makes it sound so reasonable? If she lies, how long does a doctor stay fooled? If she confesses, does Finn forgive her faster than Daphne ever could?
