KATIE LOGAN SPENCER TELLS BROOKE: I AM NOT BACKING DOWN

TL;DR: Katie Logan Spencer told Brooke, “I am not backing down,” after Brooke declared, “It all stops today.” Bill fears losing her sister would kill Katie, and Steffy braced for Finn’s flight home.

Katie Logan Spencer Refuses to Back Down

Katie Logan Spencer looked her sister in the eye on the Bold and the Beautiful recap October 15 and refused to end the war: “I am not backing down. Are you listening to me, Brooke?” She is not giving up Hope, Zende or her name.

Brooke Logan had come to make peace on her own terms, one day after she accused Katie of revenge for stealing Zende. “It’s enough,” she declared. “It all stops today.” Katie heard a demand, not an olive branch.

Across town, Steffy put on a smile for Finn as he boarded his flight home, then asked Carter how she is supposed to do this. Our Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the next two weeks put Brooke back at Katie’s door on Friday, and Finn back at Steffy’s.

Brooke Logan Asks for an End and Gets a Wall

Brooke opened by telling Katie the whole thing was clearly about her. “It was all so calculated!” Hope Logan Spencer insisted it was not personal, and then Hope got the heave ho so the sisters could have it out alone.

Katie marveled that Brooke thinks everything she does is rooted in revenge. She told her sister to look internally at how she treats her own talent, and called the Zende hire business.

Brooke Logan said it was personal, and asked the question of the day: “Don’t you want this war to end?” Katie Logan Spencer reminded Brooke that she was the one who disowned her. Here is the twist nobody is pointing out: on Wednesday Brooke was the one crying revenge, and by Thursday she was asking for peace while Katie said no. The sisters swapped roles in a single day.

Bill Fears Losing Brooke Would Kill Katie

In Logan’s showroom, Bill Spencer filled in Wyatt Spencer and Shauna Fulton, who had just found out they got Zende. Deke is thrilled, Bill said, and Katie pulled off quite a coup.

Shauna asked, “You’re happy about that, right?” Bill answered, “Sure.” Nobody bought it.

Wyatt frowned, “Is it her heart?” Bill said no. He is worried about Katie and Brooke, just as Shauna’s return and Bill’s worry were teed up for Thursday.

Wyatt and Bill debated whether Brooke is being unreasonable, and Bill pointed out that she has disowned Katie. If Brooke keeps pushing, Katie loses her sister. “And that would kill Katie.”

Is Finn Home Yet on Bold and the Beautiful?

Not yet. On October 15, John Finnegan video called Steffy while boarding his flight and said he will be home soon. Steffy put on a good show, but she was thrown when Finn enthused about life getting back to normal.

Steffy Says the Lie Out Loud

At Forrester, Steffy Forrester Finnegan vented that the company’s losses have to stop. Carter Walton warned that too much stress is not good for the baby and offered to help her tell Finn. She refused. Once the call ended, she turned to him: “How am I supposed to do this, Carter?”

Then she said the whole lie in one breath: “How am I supposed to lie to my husband and tell him I’m your surrogate while your baby is growing inside of me?” She cannot reveal the truth, she said, not even to Finn.

Carter said they can turn this into a beautiful gift. Steffy began, “Our baby…” and caught herself. If you read our take on Steffy’s choice before Finn lands, that slip is exactly the danger.

Will Stands Between Dylan and His Mother

At the beach house, Will Spencer told Melissa “Miss” Dylan he loves her. He admitted he was going back and forth for a while, but now he sees the amazing woman right in front of him. They talked about how his mother got Dylan fired, and Will said he will not let someone he cares about so much be bullied by his mom. Katie has one more fight coming, and this one lives under her own roof.

Does Brooke’s Friday appeal finally land? Find out in our full two-week Bold and the Beautiful preview.

Katie Won the Room and Risked Her Sister

Katie has every right to remind Brooke who disowned whom. But when your own husband says losing your sister would kill you, the win starts to look expensive. Katie Logan Spencer kept Hope, Zende and her name, and she may have lost the last open door to Brooke.

My gut says Friday’s appeal goes cold fast, because Brooke already has her line ready: “out for revenge.” Is Katie standing strong or burning the bridge? Tell us over on our Facebook page.

QUICK ANSWERS

Did Katie and Brooke make up on Bold and the Beautiful? No. On October 15, Brooke told Katie “It all stops today” and asked if she wants the war to end, but Katie reminded her that Brooke disowned her and said, “I am not backing down.” She refused to give up Hope, Zende or her name. Brooke makes another appeal on Friday.

Why is Bill worried about Katie? Because of Brooke. On October 15, Bill told Wyatt and Shauna that Katie pulled off a coup by landing Zende, but when Wyatt asked if it was her heart, Bill said no. He fears that if Brooke keeps pushing, Katie loses her sister, “And that would kill Katie.”
