Andre Plays the Wounded Husband While Hiding a Past

Andre Richardson loves to play the wounded husband. He has been picking at Dani Dupree’s past, questioning her feelings for Bill and asking whether she’d rather go back to her ex. Meanwhile, his own past is sitting in Fairmont Crest wearing heels.

Heather Armstrong, the woman they call the Impaler, rolled into town demanding Andre pick up where they left off. He swore he was loyal to Dani. Then he kissed Heather anyway. Dani still has no idea how deep that history goes.

That’s not a husband with a few skeletons. That’s a man running a full-blown cemetery.

Yes, Dani Had Her Elevator Moment

Let’s be fair to Andre for one paragraph. Dani is not innocent. She got trapped in an elevator with Bill Hamilton during the tornado, and they did not spend the time reading the safety notice. She slept with her ex-husband while she was married to Andre.

That’s ugly, and Andre has every right to be furious when he finds out. But it was one bad decision in a storm with a man she spent 20 years married to. It was messy and human. Nobody died, nobody got stalked, and nobody needed a passport to explain it.

Andre’s Secrets Are in a Different League

Now compare. Andre has a romantic history with a woman linked to killings. He has been hiding whatever happened in London. He got a warning from an overseas cop to run away from Heather, and he still let her close enough to kiss him.

Here’s the kicker. Andre handed Joey Armstrong a video of Heather allegedly killing someone. So Andre knows exactly how dangerous she is, and he kept it from the woman he married. Is Andre Richardson protecting Dani, or protecting himself?

Vernon Does Not Play

Vernon Dupree is a former senator who built Fairmont Crest from the ground up. He has spent his whole life guarding the Dupree name. Now he’s promising Dani he has things handled. A man like Vernon doesn’t make that promise lightly, and he doesn’t forgive anyone who makes him break it.

Imagine Vernon learning his son-in-law brought a suspected killer to the family’s doorstep. Imagine him finding out Andre sat on a murder video while letting Dani walk around town unprotected. Vernon won’t need a lawyer for this conversation. He’ll need a shovel.

Even Ted Richardson is out there praising Andre for being good to Dani. Uncle Ted has no clue, and Heather is getting triggered and treacherous at the same time. Could Vernon be the one who finally rips the mask off?
