TL;DR: Steffy Forrester Finnegan told Finn, “I agreed to be Daphne and Carter’s surrogate,” and the procedure is already done. Finn exploded and said there is more going on. Brooke called in Bill.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Gives Finn Half the Truth
“I agreed to be Daphne and Carter’s surrogate.” That is what Steffy Forrester Finnegan told her husband on the Bold and the Beautiful recap October 19, and it was only half of what she owes him.
The procedure was already done while he was away, Finn exploded, and his last words should keep her up tonight: “There’s more going on here. What is it? Steffy? Tell me.”
Friday she said she had done something and prayed he could forgive her. Monday she picked the version she could survive saying out loud. Monaco, and the baby she believes is Carter’s, stayed locked away.
Across town, Brooke picked up her phone, and the man who showed up at her door is married to her sister. Keep our Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for the next two weeks close, because this week only gets louder.

Finn Learns the Procedure Already Happened
The cliff house started soft. Steffy, clutching her stomach, told John Finnegan he is her rock and she needs that now more than ever. Finn urged her to trust him. “Our marriage is precious. What we have is pure and true,” he said.
They went back over Monaco and the awful Sheila encounter there, and Finn promised his birth mother is out of their lives. Steffy said she wishes she had never taken off her ring, and that she regrets everything after that. Then she warned him she had a lot to say.
She told him she made a big decision to help a friend, and reminded him what a good friend Daphne has been. Finn asked if they were interviewing surrogates, and Steffy said they had found someone and the process had started. “It’s me, Finn. Me.”
“What do you mean it’s you?” he asked. That is when she said it plainly, and Finn held up his hands. “I don’t understand.”
Finn rattled off the medical and legal hoops a surrogate has to clear, sure there was still time to talk her out of it. Steffy wiped away tears and told him it was too late, because while he was away, they went ahead with the procedure.
“What procedure?” he asked. “The fertilization of the eggs,” she said.
“I can’t believe you went and did that!” Finn erupted. Then the doctor in him took over. He looked at his wife and saw the cracks.
What Did Steffy Tell Finn on Bold and the Beautiful?
She told him the surrogacy and nothing else. On October 19, Steffy Forrester Finnegan said she agreed to carry a baby for Daphne and Carter and that the procedure happened while he was out of town. She did not tell him about Monaco, and she did not say whose baby she believes she is carrying.
Here is the trouble with half a truth told to a doctor: Finn knows how pregnancies are dated. He is already asking what else happened. With Steffy and Carter set to rush to the hospital later this week, the timing could not be worse for her.
Carter Tells Daphne to Keep It Quiet
At Forrester, Ridge talked about Zende, and Carter Walton did not hear a word. He slipped out when Brooke arrived. In the design office, he pretended to care about Daphne Rose Walton‘s new fragrance, and she caught him drifting.
Daphne guessed he was thinking about Steffy telling Finn, and she hoped Finn would take it well. Carter reminded her to keep it quiet. He is guarding a secret inside a secret, and his wife still thinks she is the lucky one.
Brooke Logan Calls In Bill Against Katie
Brooke Logan came to Ridge with one more update on her sister, and it boiled over. “She’s out for revenge, Ridge, and it kills me!” She said Katie is happy to watch Forrester fail, and that she let the feud go while Katie made it worse. “How did this happen?”
Ridge said they are in survival mode and have to do whatever it takes to figure this out. Brooke grabbed her phone.
Back home, she turned Ridge’s words over in her head until the knock came, and it was Bill Spencer. “Thank you for coming. I need your help with Katie,” Brooke said. Bill is the man who bankrolls Logan, and only last week he worried out loud that losing Brooke would kill Katie. Brooke knows exactly which door she knocked on.

A Half Confession and a Very Risky House Call
