Beyond the Gates
BTG WEEKLY SPOILERS—OCTOBER 26-30: Surprises Land, Tempers Flare, and Nobody in Fairmont Crest Gets to Stay Neutral
BTG Weekly Spoilers: Surprises land, tempers flare, and big announcements stir up trouble as nobody in Fairmont Crest gets a quiet week.
THESE BTG WEEKLY SPOILERS SEND FAIRMONT CREST INTO A SCRAMBLE
TL;DR: These BTG Weekly Spoilers follow Hayley scrambling after a shock and leaning on Randy, Smitty seizing control of his fate, and Bill and Naomi squaring off in court, while Anita’s career news and Leslie’s offer to host a bash stir up more trouble across Beyond the Gates.

This Week in Fairmont Crest
Fairmont Crest starts the week with everybody wanting answers and nobody wanting to give any. A woman with plenty to hide takes a rude jolt, a couple with wedding bells in the forecast learns that love does not come with matching opinions, and a family already stretched thin gets pulled even tighter. The gated community likes to advertise itself as peaceful, which is adorable.
This batch of BTG Weekly Spoilers also brings a father and daughter who can argue about anything into a courtroom standoff, plus a party with baggage, a career announcement, and one man who is done waiting for permission. Bring snacks, because the side-eye alone could power the whole neighborhood.

Monday, October 26th
Hayley Lawson opens the week with the kind of surprise that sends a woman to her phone before she even reaches for coffee. She has a settlement in the bank and an escape plan in her pocket, so getting rattled now feels like a personal insult. Her first call goes to Randy Parker, because when Hayley’s plans wobble, Randy is the number she knows by heart.
Jacob Hawthorne is a detective, a husband, and a son, and all three jobs want a full shift at the same time. Picking between the badge and the people at home is nobody’s idea of a relaxing Monday, and the squad room does not come with a pause button.
Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne heads out hunting for answers and lands on Grayson Perez, which is a bold choice for a lawyer who knows exactly what a good tip is worth. Whether he has anything useful to share is another question, but she is clearly not leaving it to chance.
A sibling feud erupts between Joey Armstrong and Heather Armstrong, and Vanessa McBride ends up squarely in the splash zone. Joey’s sister has a gift for making every room feel like a negotiation, and Vanessa is the one at the table without a chair.
Shanice Johnson and Ted Richardson sit down to figure out what happens once the proposal glow fades. With a Christmas wedding on the calendar, the to-do list has real deadlines now, and so does the question of where two people with this much extended family will live. Romance is lovely, but somebody still has to book the venue.
Tuesday, October 27th
Dani Dupree squares up to Hayley with pointed questions about what she is still doing in Fairmont Crest. Dani has wanted a word with her for a while, and Hayley picked the wrong week to be the town’s favorite topic. Expect a showdown with a lot of held-back temper behind it.
Back in wedding-planning land, Ted and Shanice find out they do not see every issue the same way. Their ideals pull in different directions, which is exactly the sort of thing couples love to learn after the ring is already on.
Martin Richardson worries about Smitty and what lies ahead for him, and a campaign trail is a terrible place to have a crisis of confidence. After weeks of defending his husband to voters, Martin starts wondering whether he has what it takes to keep going. Poll numbers do not care about feelings.
Anita Dupree and Vernon Dupree grow more uneasy about Dani’s marriage, and the first couple of Fairmont Crest has never been known for worrying quietly. They have watched their daughter’s life get complicated before, so a bad feeling from these two is worth taking seriously.
Anita also lines up an exciting career move, a welcome change of pace from all the family fretting. A woman with this much poise deserves one good thing going on, even if the rest of the house is wobbling.

Wednesday, October 28th
Naomi and Jacob stumble into trouble, and the Hawthorne marriage feels every bump. They have promised each other to keep work out of the house, and the house keeps losing that argument.
Leslie Thomas floats the idea of hosting a bash for Eva Thomas, which would sound sweet coming from literally anyone else. For these two, a celebration stirs up a past neither of them remembers fondly, and a party is a hard place to hide from it.
Samantha Richardson opens up to Smitty. She has been putting on a brave face since the arrest video spread, and with him she finally lets the cracks show.
Sharon Winger and Tracy Tyler are the first to hear Anita’s headline-worthy news, and the reaction alone should be worth the price of admission.
And Smitty has had enough of waiting. After days of being told to sit tight while everybody else manages his fate, he decides to steer his own life again, caution be damned. Whatever he does, it is his call, which in this family is practically a revolution.
Thursday, October 29th
A courtroom clash pits Bill Hamilton against Naomi, and being related has never stopped either of them from arguing. Last week they were folding paper airplanes together, and this week the gloves come off. Bill got boxing gloves for his birthday, and apparently his daughter missed the memo that they are meant for a heavy bag.
Martin and Smitty get ready for a major public appearance alongside Vernon, which is a lot of pressure on a family that mostly wants to stay out of the headlines. Vernon loves a stage, so it is safe to assume he has a plan.
Hayley lets a bombshell fly, and whoever hears it first will need a chair. She adores an entrance, but even by her standards this one is a heavy hitter.
Kat Richardson and Chelsea Hamilton celebrate a launch they have clearly been working toward. After weeks of watching the family unravel, it is nice to see two women collect a win. Pop the bubbly.
Friday, October 30th
Bill corners Hayley over the gossip making the rounds, and for once he is the one asking the questions. This is the man who sent her a settlement and wrote her off as a gold digger, so the conversation should be a treat.
Leslie starts sniffing for dirt on Shanice and Ted. She says she has moved on and fallen for Marcel, but old habits die hard, and gossip is basically her cardio.
Joey tends to his own affairs, and in his line of work that phrase can mean a lot of things. It is best to keep an eye on the casino back room.
Vanessa cannot sort out how she feels about Randy, and nothing about this week helps. After learning what he and Hayley once cooked up, she has reason to feel more than one thing at once.
Who ends the week in the worst spot, Hayley or Smitty? Tell us in the comments.

Fairmont Crest Has Run Out of Places to Hide
By Friday, a runaway, a gambler, and a family under legal pressure are all on a collision course. Does Hayley’s shocking news land as a bombshell or a bluff? Does Smitty’s bold move set him free or backfire on everyone who loves him? Will Bill and Naomi make peace after their courtroom clash, or are they too much alike to stop?
Tell us on our Facebook page: should Smitty keep playing it his way, or should the family rein him in?
What did you think?
