Tomas Touches Eva Twice, Is He About to Double Down?
Isn’t Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria), attorney at Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Kyle Durret) law firm, dating Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad)? Not so much. They are seeing each other & they kiss cute, but they are not exclusive, & that’s as per Tomas to Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle). Somehow, Tomas seems to be in the right place at the right time to run into Eva for a little chit-chat, except when Kit-Kat catches him holding hands with Eva.
Sure, Tomas & Kat kiss cute, but he vibes way more with Eva. Tomas & Eva haven’t kissed yet, & Tomas is not committed to Kat. How long before Kit-Kat catches Tomas & Eva lip-locking on Beyond the Gates?
Derek Scratches His Relationship with Ashley with Steel Wool
Seriously, who still keeps steel wool in their homes? Well, at least Ashley Morgan (Jen Jacob) does on Beyond the Gates, & somehow her boring boyfriend found it. Not only did Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin) find it, but he used it to clean the exterior of Ashley’s stainless steel fridge. How & why? Derek’s boring, but he’s not dumb. He fights fires. What in the actual hell was he doing? Also, out of all the things to clean in their place, why was the exterior of the fridge a priority?
Cleaning Ashley’s fridge with steel wool wasn’t the first thing that Derek has done to piss her off since he moved in. Actually, almost every single damn thing he does rubs Nurse Perfect Ashley the wrong way. Did this couple seriously not have sleepovers before moving together? Did Ashley never stay at Derek’s place? Something is not adding up & now Ashley has found too many excuses to flirt with BTG’s #1 hottie, Andre Hamilton (Sean Freeman).
Tomas & Derek Have Soap Opera Fan Hope, Maybe
Tomas & Kat seem forced, & Derek & Ashley have gone from boring to boring with petty fighting.
Tomas & Eva are totally vibing & Beyond the Gates fans wouldn’t mind seeing little miss Kit-Kat get even more fired up about their friendship. As for Derek & Ashley, every time she checks him on something stupid, less stupid than the fridge cleaning, Derek becomes more palatable for soap opera fans.
Now, in the event that Eva needs a lawyer since her mother, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), has led some to believe that she ran Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) off the road, Tomas has offered to represent her & will provide her the friends & family discount. Once Miss Kit-Kat learns of this development, her cute kisses with Tomas will be indefinitely paused.
As for Derek, he’s really trying & his girlfriend Ashley has been nothing but a big ‘B’ since he moved in. Derek’s cute & he means well. He needs to move on & out of Ashley’s orbit. However, this doesn’t mean that Andre can replace Derek in Ashley’s life. Andre belongs hot & heavy with Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley).
