Anita Dupree has been fighting cancer with more grace than any one woman should have to summon, and on Monday she hits the milestone every fighter dreams about. The chemo, the DNR scare, the lost voice, every tear the Duprees have cried since November lead to one moment when Anita Dupree rings that bell and her family gets to breathe again. Meanwhile, Jacob Hawthorne and Smitty realize the plasma ring operation is about to come crashing down, Grayson Perez gets handed a life or death deadline, and Nicole Dupree makes a stunning admission to Dani Dupree on Monday that changes the way these sisters look at each other. Fairmont Crest is in for a week.

Anita Dupree rings that bell. After everything this matriarch has put her body and her family through, this is the milestone the Duprees have been holding their breath for. Vernon Dupree is right there. Dani and Nicole are right there. Nicole then makes a stunning admission to her sister that lands somewhere between a confession and a bombshell. Ted Richardson clashes with Leslie Thomas over Shanice, because Leslie has never once accepted that Ted is moving on. Naomi Hawthorne pressures Jacob for intel on his case, which she has every right to do, and Derek apologizes to Ashley Morgan for whatever lingering Grayson mess he has stirred up.

Tuesday, May 12

Joey Armstrong confronts Smitty, and given that Joey has Randy actively tailing the journalist, this confrontation has been building for weeks. Naomi delivers news that hits close to home for Ashley, which means Naomi has likely chosen to finally tell her best friend the truth she has been hiding since January. Bill Hamilton gets an unwelcome blast from the past, Elon Hawthorne helps Chelsea Hamilton and Madison Montgomery deal with an altercation, and Nicole reconnects with Carlton Fitzgerald. After Kial, after the mess, Carlton is back at the table.

Wednesday, May 13

Chelsea deals with a crisis head on with Dani, Kat Richardson, Bill, and Naomi all jumping in to help. Smitty meets with Tomas Navarro to discuss Lynette Wise, which means the Hayley and Lynette mess is officially crossing into Tomas’s lane. Eva Thomas and Izaiah Hawthorne say something to each other they cannot take back. And Vanessa McBride counsels a friend about her past, because Vanessa has been there.

Thursday, May 14

Anita and Vernon sit down with Dr. Bauer to discuss what comes next, and a post-bell-ringing conversation with an oncologist still carries weight. The Belleclaires battle Nicole and bully Samantha Richardson, because Anastasia and Francesca Belleclaire have never once let a Dupree breathe in peace. Joey steps in it with Vanessa, Donnell McBride is left emotional after a surprising gesture, and Mona Wilson says something that lands hard with Randy Parker.

Friday, May 15

Jacob and Smitty realize the plasma ring operation is about to end. Whatever the Impaler is gearing up for, it is happening this week, and these two are right in the middle of it. Grayson receives a new life or death deadline, because Lia has made it crystal clear there is no way out of this for him. Marcel Malone questions Lia Whitmore, Ted enlists Monica‘s help with Shanice, and Eva bolsters Samantha while Tyrell Richardson brings her to tears. The week ends with the operation closing, the deadline ticking, and Fairmont Crest holding what little breath it has left.
