The week kicks off with Anita Dupree receiving a phone call that leaves her absolutely shaken. Given the recent test results her doctor mentioned, this likely has something to do with her mysterious health situation, and fans should probably brace themselves for the worst. Whatever news comes through that phone, it’s clearly devastating.

Elsewhere on BTG, Hayley meets with a new client at the firm, and wouldn’t you know it, there’s a shared past lurking beneath the surface. With Hayley already juggling her murder plot against Bill, the last thing she needs is someone from her past potentially exposing her scheme. Over at the casino, Joey Armstrong makes Bill an unexpected proposal about his future. And Vernon seeks out Andre’s help with something mysterious.

Tuesday, December 16

Anita Dupree keeps a secret from her family, and given that shaking phone call from the day before, this can’t be anything good. The matriarch has always been the glue holding the Duprees together, so watching her carry this burden alone is going to be painful for longtime viewers.

Vanessa drops an emotional bombshell on Joey, because apparently one explosive conversation wasn’t enough for the casino king this week. Dani catches someone snooping in her home, which is never a good sign in Fairmont Crest where everybody has something to hide. And Kit Kat butts heads with Tomas about what’s best for his future.

Leslie Thomas calls on Naomi for help with a new endeavor, and the fact that Samantha gets shut out in the process is pure Leslie drama. Barbara’s daughter has been slowly worming her way into Fairmont Crest society, and now she’s apparently building alliances one Hawthorne at a time.

June receives a heartwarming invitation that’s sure to make fans smile. Ted gives Shanice something that absolutely freaks her out. After getting some words of advice from Jacob and Eva, Izaiah makes a decision that leaves Elon surprised. And the moment we’ve ALL been waiting for arrives when Nicole and Carlton’s indoor date heats up significantly.

Thursday, December 18

Leslie calls out Marcel for his deception on Beyond the Gates, and this confrontation has been brewing for weeks. Marcel has been playing both sides since he arrived in Fairmont Crest, and Leslie isn’t one to let deception slide when it doesn’t benefit her personally.

Dani and Bill come to a new understanding as they reminisce about their past. These two have history, and with Bill’s health in jeopardy thanks to Hayley’s scheming, this reconnection feels especially poignant. Anita Dupree helps Andre open up about his own past, proving that even while dealing with her own crisis, Anita remains the heart of this family. And Randy catches up with an old friend, which leaves him and Hayley with more questions than answers.

The emotional gut punch arrives when Sharon and Tracy show up to support Anita in her time of need. When the Articulettes rally around one of their own, you KNOW things are serious. Whatever Anita Dupree has been hiding all week, it’s clearly reached a point where she needs her sisters by her side.

Leslie and Peaches share a bonding moment before Leslie drops a major Dupree revelation on Ted. With Leslie constantly digging for information about her biological family, whatever she’s uncovered could change everything. And Dani gets some tantalizing updates from her sister!
