Derek Isn’t a Dud, Beyond the Gates Fans Reconsider
Beyond the Gates is the only soap opera that’s moving right now, & it moves fast, except for Ashley Morgan & her now ex-boyfriend, Derek Baldwin (Ben Gavin), but that’s about to change.
Fire Fighter Derek has finally called it quits with Nurse Perfect Ashley & soap opera fans are already giving Derek a second look. Derek is actually quite lively when he’s pissed & finally realizes things, like the options he has.
Option #1… Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings)?!?
Derek & Hayley Have Vibes, Vibing Friends Away
Firefighter Derek & Hayley Hamilton are totally vibing, although sparingly, but it’s what Beyond the Gates fans crave. Ashley is so damn dull & Derek deserves more. Hayley is hardly a fan favorite, but she might be enough spice to fuse Ashley out of more storylines on BTG. No one except Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durret) is into Hayley on either side of the gates.
Naomi Hamilton (Arielle Prepetit) & Jason Hawthrowne (Jibre Hordges) have been Ashley & Derek’s BFFs, spending time at the Uptown bar & as of late being their counselors through Ashley’s one hell-of-a-no to Derek’s marriage proposal. While Beyond the Gates fans have it in them to root for Derek after leaving Ashley, Naomi & her husband are hardly going to have him taking a look at Hayley, or will they?
Derek Needs a Decoy & Fayley Hayley’s Fake Pregnancy
Is Fayley-Hayley, as Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) calls her, is Derek’s answer long-term? Absolutely not. However, for entertainment value is needed & Nurse Perfect Ashley Morgan needs to go.
Hayley is totally faking her pregnancy & her cheating on Bill Hamilton with firefighter Derek to have that truth revealed would rock Fairmont Crest & entertain Beyond the Gates fans. Also, they would be hot whether anyone likes it or not.
Seriously, almost anything to get Nurse Perfect Ashley off screen for Beyond the Gates fans who are as new & fresh as this new soap opera. As for Ashley’s not-so-hidden crush Andre Hamilton (Sean Freeman), he needs to keep his focus on Miss Dani & run like his ass is on fire from Ashley. She’s not fun & could not be more boring.
