TL;DR: BTG fans are demanding Dr. Nicole Richardson start supporting her daughter Kat instead of pushing her to forgive Tomas for sleeping with her half-sister Eva. Nicole won’t forgive her husband Ted for his decades-old affair but expects Kat to forgive Tomas? Meanwhile, non-doctor Dani Dupree is the actual voice of reason, and it’s driving judgmental Nicole nuts.
Again, aren’t doctors supposed to be smart? We just went through this with Dr. Ted and Dr. Doug on Beyond the Gates, and here we are again with Dr. Nicole. How is this woman still ‘Team Eva’ when her daughter, Kat, is almost always on point?

Kit-Kat Needs a Dose of Non-Dr. Dani Dupree on BTG
It’s been one thing as Kat Richardson‘s (Colby Muhammad) dad, Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson), has been out of his family’s loop except for his new daughter, Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle), the daughter of his back in the day side piece, and now revisited side piece, loony Leslie/Dana Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant), but what is with her mother, Dr. Nicole Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix)?
Dr. Nicole is a psychologist, an industry-renowned psychologist at that. How is she still ‘Team Eva’ and telling her daughter Kat that her current love interest with challenges, Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria), sleeping with her new half-sister Eva is forgivable?
What in the what?? Ted slept with Leslie/Dana over two decades ago, and Nicole has next to no interest in forgiving him. Sure, Ted sleeping with Dana again because he was drunk and lonely didn’t help, but still. Ted and Nicole were the couple that every couple wanted to be. They had relationship bliss, love, and everything else and even more. They were the ‘it’ couple.
Kat and Tomas have been next to nothing. They have next to nothing invested in one another and in their farce of a relationship. How does Dr. Nicole see fit for Kat to forgive and forget, and she’s already moving on to Ted‘s business partner, Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald (Robert Christopher Riley)?
Make Nicole Richardson make sense. It’s time for a dose of non-doctor-Dani-Dupree on Beyond the Gates…
Dr. Judgemental Needs to Chill, Dani Dupree to the Rescue
It is driving Nicole nuts that her queen of chaos sister, Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley), is the voice of reason. NicoleCAN NOT stand that her sissy Dani married her nephew Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), all drunk and in all up in Las Vegas by their mother Anita Dupree‘s (Tamara Tunie) drag doppelganger. Nicole is literally doubling down on what a poor decision this was. What about encouraging Kat to give that trash Tomas another chance after being caught sleeping with Eva?
What in the what? Also, where was Nicole during her daughter’s launch with Chelsea Hamilton (Rhonni Rose Mantilla)? Yes, it was online and all, but Nicole has not purchased a purse. Beyond the Gates fans know who has purchased a purse, though… and it was Dani Dupree‘s ex-husband and Dupree family fixer, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). Sure, he bought it for his Child-Bride, Fayley Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings), but his money still spends the same.
