For the Young & the Restless fans out there who cannot wait for the Abbott Estate refresh, they best tune into Beyond the Gates if they haven’t already. This new soap opera has 27 brand-new sets. While one hour isn’t enough to showcase all of the 27 new sets, one hour is enough to show some sex that is safe for both aunties & grandmothers. This is a daytime soap opera, after all… Yet there was more action before the first commercial break than in some entire episodes of Y&R.
The Dupree Family Revolves Around Dani & So Do Fans
It’s only day one of Beyond the Gates & Dani Dupree (Karla Cheatham Mosley) is already running the show. Dani had an explosive modeling career at a young age & married her first love at 19, Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett). She gave up her career to build a marriage, a household, & a family with Bill. Now she & Bill are divorced & he’s about to marry their daughter’s best friend until just before now Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings).
During the Beyond the Gates series premiere it was revealed that not only is Bill & Hayley’s wedding being held at the Fairmont Crest Country Club, but they will also be living in the community per the town real estate agent, Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli). Miss Dani wrapped up that news in front of everyone with eyes with a bow in the fashion of one of the most bad-ass slaps now in soap opera history to her cheating ex-husband’s fiancee, Hayley Lawson.
It was also revealed that Hayley isn’t the only woman Bill Hamilton has stepped out on Dani with. Cheating was Bill’s norm as long as his affairs were kept away from home. Now everything about Bill cheating & who he cheated last with is very close to home & the Duprees & soap opera fans are all ‘Team Dani.’
