Kandi Burruss Walks Into Dani’s Big Day as a Woman Bill Knows

Next week’s Beyond the Gates spoilers come with a Housewife in pink. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss is headed to Fairmont Crest as Kalista Kilroy, the name the show put in its closing credits, and she first appears Thursday, October 22. So who is Kalista on Beyond the Gates? Nobody on screen has said, but Bill Hamilton clearly knows.

The sneak peek at the end of Friday’s episode shows Kalista causing a stir at the retrospective of Dani Dupree‘s life and career, painting Bill as anything but Husband of the Year. Bill does not ask who she is. He asks, “What the hell are you doing here, Kalista?”

The official preview for Thursday reads: “The family celebrates Dani’s life and career, but a surprise guest brings old wounds to the surface, leaving Naomi, Chelsea, and Andre to deal with the fallout.” Relax, nobody is dying. The weekly promo plays it as a TV sit-down with host Tia Allen, played by Tabitha Brown.

Kandi is the fourth Real Housewives star to visit, after Karen Huger in the February 24, 2025 premiere and Gizelle Bryant and Wendy Osefo on December 1, 2025. Those were quick drop-ins. Kalista comes with a grudge.

Bill Hamilton’s Marriage Record Is Why Her Jab Stings

Start with the first marriage. Dani left school to model, then gave up the runway after marrying Bill to raise Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne and Chelsea Hamilton. That marriage was over before the show premiered, ended by Bill’s affair with Hayley Lawson, who worked at his firm. Dani has said from the start that Bill had a history of cheating on her, and on August 11, 2026 he apologized to her for cheating and leaving.

The second marriage went worse. Bill married Hayley on March 3, 2025, and she spent months poisoning him before her arrest in September. She signed his divorce papers on October 12, and the settlement money landed in her account on October 14, the same day Chelsea set her father up on a dating site. Dani gave him a birthday hug the next day, and on Friday Naomi brought him a paper airplane kit.

Dani, meanwhile, is married to Andre Richardson, and Bill has spent the fall wanting more from her anyway. That is the Bill and Dani reunion debate, and it is the room Kalista walks into.

Who Is Kalista Kilroy to Bill Hamilton on Beyond the Gates?

The show has not said. What we know is narrow but telling. Kalista Kilroy goes after Bill as a husband, not as a lawyer, and she does it on Dani’s night. In the promo she calls him “an awful husband,” and one write-up of that promo describes her as one of Bill’s exes.

Here is what nobody else has lined up. Since the premiere, the show has only ever shown Bill married to two women: Dani and Hayley. Yet Dani describes a history of cheating, and Bill has apologized for it himself. Kalista Kilroy is the first face that could fill that blank, and she arrives two days after Bill receives “a mysterious package from someone special,” barely a week after Hayley’s settlement cleared.

Four Ways Kalista Kilroy Could Fit Into Bill’s Past

My money is on the other woman. If Kalista was an affair from Bill’s years with Dani, “awful husband” is a bold charge from her mouth, unless Bill lied to her about his marriage too. That would be very Bill. It would also put a name and a face on the history Dani has lived with for years.

Door two is a friend from Dani’s runway years who watched the marriage go bad. It is Dani’s celebration, the guests come from her life, and in the promo Bill appears to turn on Dani and ask, “Why the hell would you do that?” If her side booked Kalista, Bill feels ambushed by the woman he wants back. Door three is a first love from before Dani, the weakest fit, because the show has never mentioned one.

Door four is the package. Tuesday’s “someone special” sounds warm and Bill’s Thursday greeting is anything but, so I would not tie them together yet. Head writer Michele Val Jean promised this fall that Dani would find “her marriage and herself in danger”, and Wednesday, Dani preps for a major moment while Andre is not on board. By Friday, Naomi encourages her dad to dig deeper, and “Bill’s got another thing coming.”
