BTG Fans Kidnapped Like Chelsea, Labor Day Loose Ends

BREAKING on CBS Daytime… Beyond the Gates is taking another 1 week break. Earlier this summer, CBS paused new episodes of Beyond the Gates to show potential new fans the opening first five episodes of this almost brand new soap opera.

Now, BTG is going on break again, but which episodes will be aired? Why are soap opera fans being kidnapped on Chelsea Hamilton?

BTG Serves up a Week-Long Cliff Hanger on CBS

What in the actual soap opera hell? Chelsea Hamilton (Rhonni Rose Mantilla) has been kidnapped by her last lover, Allison Bailey (Brianna Roberts), & is now the #1 focus of Beyond the Gates. Now that Chelsea is SO close to being found &/or knifed by Allison, BTG on CBS leaves soap opera fans with a week-long cliff hanger.

How & the why? While Beyond the Gates has been non-stop since its inception on February 24th, 2025, this week quite possibly was the most explosive week so far. Rhonni Rose Mantilla, who portrays Chelsea Hamilton, is absolutely nailing it, & Timon Kyle Durrett, portraying her father, Bill Hamilton, is dominating his role. Anyone who was on the fence about how they felt about Bill is now Beyond the Gates.

Looney Leslie Left Crying for a Week on BTG

Did Looney Leslie just get checked by her Teddy Bear? Everyone on Beyond the Gates is doing everything in their power to keep Leslie/Dana Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant) from moving into Fairmont Crest across the street from Anita & Vernon Dupree (Tamara Tunie & Clifton Davis). Realtor Vanessa McBride (Lauren Buglioli) has persuaded the Jarvis family to take 90 days to find a new home, keeping Looney Leslie on the other side of the gates for at least a few months.

Already, Bill Hamilton has threatened Leslie & her daughter Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) has called on her dad, Ted Richardson (Keith Robinson), for backup. Now, all of a sudden, it’s been revealed that the house Ted & Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) lived & raised their family in is solely Ted’s.

Can someone make Fairmont Crest make sense? Why on earth would two intelligent married doctors not have both of their names on their home? Also, their home is in Fairmont Crest. It isn’t across the street from Anita & Vernon, but it’s still in the community. Leslie moving into the Richardson home instead of the Jarvis home barely makes a difference, unless Teddy Bear is full of crap & Looney Leslie is left crying without any home at all in Fairmont Crest long after this cliff hanger.

What Beyond the Gates Fans Missed, Reboot #2

Although not one Beyond the Gates fan voted for another week of reruns, another one is upon us. During reboot #1, fans caught things they missed the first time through, & that’s surely to happen again. If nothing else, there’s sure to be a reboot of the very much missed Maurice Johnson portraying Turtleneck Ted Richardson.
