BTG’s 1st Wedding Turns Into a Contest of the Dumbest in the Room, It Isn’t Dani
The first contestant of “Dumbest in the Room” during Beyond the Gate’s first wedding was the groom himself, Bill Hamilton. Mandating that his ex-wife & her family attend his wedding was out of line & then some, period. Then there’s the poor girl who went live, Bill & Dani’s daughter Chelsea. This wedding was staged as a family funeral by the Duprees. Sure, Dani didn’t need to bring a golden gun to this event, but Hayley never feeling better ever about still marrying Bill & being carried over the threshold into their new home in Fairmont Crest was even worse.
The Dumbest in the Room Wasn’t a Dupree, Despite the Golden Gun
The first wedding on Beyond the Gates literally opened with a bang. Who has a golden gun? Apparently, Dani Dupree (Karla Moseley) does & she wasn’t afraid to use it. She didn’t kill anyone so all of the wedding/funeral attendees were good there, but Dani did create quite the ordeal.
What did Dani’s ex-husband Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Duwett) really think would happen after blackmailing Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) into having his entire family attend this sham of a wedding? Also, who decided where the guests sat? The gal with the golden gun got the front row. Something was bound to happen.
Chelsea is a Dupree, but Not the Dumbest in the Room
Chelsea Hamilton’s (Rhonni Rose Mantilla) momma is Dani Dupree & she has quite the following. Miss Chelsea went live & it kept going, going, & going. Now this wedding/funeral/hot mess has gone viral online & Grandpa Vernon Dupree has to damage control. While he’s busy making phone calls & orchestrating a press conference, Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is putting her daughter Dani in her place. Chelsea made a hell of a mistake, but neither Dani nor Anita are coming down on her. Dani & Anita are reserving some energy for what’s coming soon on BTG.
Hayley Didn’t Register for a Bullet Proof Vest, Oops
Hayley Lawson now Hamilton (Marquita Goings) overlooked registering for a bulletproof vest, apparently. Beyond the Gates Fan, we now have the “Dumbest in the Room” who is Hayley Hamilton.
Hayley followed through with marrying Bill & having him carry her across the threshold in their new home, just a few doors down from the home Bill left Dani for their daughter Naomi Hamilton’s (Arielle Prepetit) ex-best friend Hayley. Since when is marrying a man who’s ex-wife carries a gun & isn’t afraid to pull it out a good choice? Why not take a beat, get a hotel suite, & mull things over a bit before doubling down on marrying this guy with the baggage? How about getting a hotel suite regardless after getting married to be as far away from Dani & the Duprees as possible to figure things out? Perhaps they could rethink their living arrangements.
The only fan & friend Hayley Hamilton has other than her now husband Bill Hamilton is her co-worker Caroline Lee (Ellie Wang). That’s what one gets for being pretty but dumb… But Really, pretty dumb.
