Wasn’t Eva Thomas introduced to Beyond the Gates fans as an aspiring hair stylist trying to work her way into having a space in a salon? Soap opera fans haven’t seen or heard about her cutting anyone’s hair. Is Miss Eva missing out on being Miss Style on purpose as she’s busy as Dr. Nicole Richardson’s temporary assistant?
Dr. Nicole Does Networking, Eva Doesn’t Do Hair
What is going on? Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle) was supposed to working her way into being a successful hair stylist & she hasn’t even touched her momma Leslie Thomas’ (Trisha Mann-Grant) hair which does change from time to time even early into this new soap opera.
Now that Eva is working as Dr. Nicole Richardson’s (Daphnee Duplaix) temporary assistant since her momma Looney Leslie ran down Dr. Nicole’s last assistant Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) with her motorcycle, unbeknownst to Eva, she should be networking the crap out of this opportunity to drive her professional passion. Especially now since Anita & Vernon Dupree (Tamara Tunie & Clifton Davis) have given notice, props, & acknowledgment to Eva per their daughter Nicole’s compliments over Dupree family chit-chat. Why isn’t Eva dropping diva hair hints at the country club?
Do Not Do Tomas, Do Not Piss Off Kat, Do Not Collect $200
Eva Thomas is a grown woman who has been put on notice by her supposed momma to do this & mostly to not do that for too long, & this new soap opera is just a month old. Seriously, Beyond the Gates fans could really use some flashbacks to see how Leslie & Eva got to this point & where & why they live just outside of the gates. Eva Thomas seems like a pretty well emotionally adjusted adult which is a far cry from her momma Leslie Thomas. How long has Eva been led to believe that Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) is her biological father?
Regardless, Leslie has advised Eva to not cross Nicole & Ted’s daughter Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) as she has the potential means to get Eva fired. Leslie has also advised Eva to stay away from Kat’s crush Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria). Leslie seriously told Eva that Tomas is a creeper. That’s so not right. However, if Kat keeps playing up her virgin act in front of Tomas & Eva keeps up her charm, Kat will not be happy while Eva & Tomas will be happy in one of their beds.
Eva Bonds with Ted, Networking & Non-Leslie Time
Eva isn’t supposed to chat with Tomas & she’s not supposed to piss off Kat, but she is supposed to plan a party for Ted & Nicole’s wedding anniversary. Reluctantly, Eva accepted the challenge of proposing the party idea to Ted & Nicole & Eva was blessed with it being accepted back.
Eva already loves bonding with Ted & Ted has already taken to Eva. However, does Ted know that Eva could be his daughter? He has admitted in front of Beyond the Gates fans that he had an affair with Leslie, but what loose ends did he leave with Leslie that he knows about?
Leslie has advised Eva to plan the event & she’ll bring the fireworks. Eva got Leslie removed from Nicole’s event. Will she double down & all out prevent her from getting into Ted & Nicole’s anniversary?
Regardless, let’s hope Miss Eva gets some potential clients for her pending business. This girl cannot depend on Looney Leslie for the long term. Eva needs out of that home A.S.A.P.!
