Jan Morgan (Jerri Tubbs) could not be more sweet. The way she carries herself and her ability to give everyone the benefit of the doubt is a breath of fresh air on Beyond the Gates, well, except for her best gal pal, Mona Wilson (Karan Kendrick). Jan has forgiven Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann Grant) for everything. Both Beyond the Gates fans & Mona Wilson do not understand, but Beyond the Gates fans do think it’s sweet.
So, where will all of Jan’s sweetness towards Leslie leave her friendship with Mona? Mona said her friendship with Leslie has sailed and sunk. Will it be possible for Jan to be friends with both Leslie and Mona as they continue to be on opposite sides of the spectrum?

Across social media, there is speculation that Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is a past lover of Jans and is her daughter, Ashley Morgan’s (Jen Jacob), father. Really?? While this concept might make a bit of entertainment on Beyond the Gates, does this concept really make sense at all?
Joey Armstrong is one of the most dynamic characters on Beyond the Gates. This new soap opera has just begun to peel the onion as it pertains to who Joey Armstrong is, his past, and the many skeletons he has in his closet. Nurse Perfect Ashley Morgan is as boring as her mother, Jan, is sweet. There is no realistic way that Joey Armstrong is Ashley’s biological father… but yes, this is a soap opera after all.
