Now that it has been revealed to all in Fairmont Crest that Ted Richardson (Maurice Johnson) cheated on his wife, Nicole Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix), he is being referred to as Theodore by all the Duprees on Beyond the Gates. Yes, Theodore is in deep, deep doo-doo for what he did to Nicole decades ago & no one is about to let it slide. Although their son Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) is furious with his father, he has shown his sweet side to his new half-sister Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).

Now that the Richardson family has been turned upside down alongside the Duprees, Martin has rolled back his plans to run for President. Martin has a secret that no one knows except his grandparents, Anita & Vernon Dupree (Tamara Tunie & Vernon Dupree). No, not even his husband, Smitty Smith (Mike Manning), knows what Martin’s deep, dark secret is, but Smitty is aware of Martin’s dreams, but not the nightmarish details. Ted Richardson did everything in his power to hide his secret & it popped out of almost nowhere. Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durret) covered up Ted’s secret for a long time, but not forever.
