A Couple of Interlopers, 2 Expert Liars
Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) calls it as she sees it. Unfortunately, she didn’t call out Bill Hamilton (Timon Kyle Durrett) soon enough. Anita’s daughter Dani Dupree (Karla Cheatham Mosley) gave up everything to build a marriage, home & family with Bill Hamilton when she was 19. Now she’s divorced & her ex-husband is marrying her daughter Naomi Hamilton’s (Arielle Prepetit) former best friend Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings).
Dani Dupree brought Miss Hayley into her home & family as Hayley doesn’t have any parents or siblings alive. My how the tables have turned & they will keep turning as Dani continues running around town slapping whoever harms her square across the face.
Anita Dupree does not condone violence, but she calls it like she sees it. Billy & Hayley are a couple of interlopers & expert liars.
Poor Hayley Fell in Love with An Inconvenient Man
…& no one cares in Fairmont Crest.
Dani’s sister has reminded Miss Hayley that falling in love with an inconvenient man yields inconvenient consequences. Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphne Duplaix) is loyal to her sister not via slapping, but by turning down cookies & telling her like it is like mother Anita Dupree.
All signs on Beyond the Gates point towards Hayley facing inconvenient consequences during her wedding to Bill Hamilton at the country club that the Dupree will now be attending as a family to protect one of their own, Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon).
That Whore Show of a Wedding & That Little Heffer
This new soap opera is moving fast. Not even a week in we have thrown & broken mugs, face slaps, & a car accident most likely with injuries on the books. Up next on Beyond the Gates, a whore show of a wedding that the Dupree family has now been mandated to attend by Anita & Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) for reasons not revealed to the Dupree’s but BTG fans know the reasons are all about their grandson Martin Richardson.
Still, per Anita, if Bill Hamilton has the stones to marry that little heffer, she will be making some calls.
Beyond the Gates has just started & there is no end or slowdown in sight on CBS.

Thank you for this excellent article. I really enjoyed reading it. So far I am loving the show. I worked during the day but I go home and watch it on my DVR in the evenings. I also love the fact that I can stream it on Paramount plus. Looking forward more of Fairmont crest.
