Somehow, BTG fans are supposed to have feelings for this faux new family… How? Why?? Ted Richardson has made his bed, and whatever he has coming next, he has earned on Beyond the Gates…
It’s Time for Ted Richardson to Pick a Daughter, Per Daughter #1
Kat Richardson has had it and Beyond the Gates fans have too. Does she not have the worst parents of all of the parents on this show, particularly her father, Dr. Ted Richardson? Since day one, Kat was on to his newly revealed daughter with Leslie/Dana Thomas, who is Eva Thomas. Kat picked up on her Leslie-like vibes instantly. Yet Kat’s mother, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, wasn’t having any of it, along with her dad, Ted.
Dr. Ted has doubled down on daughter #2, Eva, and has been spending SO much time with her. It’s like Kat and her brother, Martin Richardson, barely exist. Also, since day one, Vernon Dupree has by far been more of a father figure to Martin.
Now, Ted has asked his new daughter, Eva, to call him dad. Eva’s good with it. Leslie is, of course, good with it.
Guess who isn’t… KIT KAT!!

Kit Kat Never Wins, Leslie Thomas & Eva Thomas Do, Bye-Bye Ted!
Leslie long ago coined her own nickname for Kat, Kit Kat Brat, on Beyond the Gates. Sure, Kat has had life at its finest, but she does work, she is smart, and she is a good person. She never had on her Bingo card to have a sister forced into her life. Kat never thought her dad, Ted, was capable of hurting her mother, Nicole, let alone cheating on her. Where’s any credit for Kat in keeping all that she has together despite her parents being everywhere around here except for on her team?
Beyond the Gates fans are beyond upset that Leslie and her spawn with Ted Richardson, Eva Thomas, get SO much screen time. It’s about time this last-minute family made in hell hang out off-screen and move elsewhere on BTG.
