BTG TOMAS NAVARRO WATCH: Grief for Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne, Comfort for Eva Thomas, Nothing for Kat Richardson
Bill Hamilton’s hospital stay exposed exactly how Tomas Navarro treats the women around him, and BTG’s Kat Richardson deserves better.
GRIEF FOR NAOMI, COMFORT FOR EVA, NOTHING FOR KAT
Tomas Navarro already blew up his relationship with Kat once by crossing a line with her half-sister Eva. Now, with Bill Hamilton hospitalized again and Naomi stepping up to help, Tomas is giving Naomi grief instead of gratitude, then turning right back around to lean on Eva again. Some men learn from their mistakes. Tomas apparently did not.
We Were On A Break, Except They Weren’t
Every soap fan knows the “we were on a break” defense, and Tomas Navarro has basically been running that same excuse for as long as fans can remember. Except unlike a certain sitcom couple, Tomas and Kat Richardson were never actually broken up when he crossed a line with Eva Thomas. Kat found out the hard way, walking in on Tomas fresh out of the shower after he had already slept with her own half-sister.
That should have been the wake-up call of a lifetime. Instead, Tomas proposed to Kat anyway; she gave him a confident no instead of a clean yes, and here we are months later watching him drift right back toward Eva as if nothing happened at all. Tomas Navarro had every chance to prove that history would not repeat itself, and he is already failing that test.

Grief for Naomi, Who Is Simply Trying to Help
Bill Hamilton landed in the hospital again, and his daughter Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne has been stepping in to check on him and help manage his firm, the same firm where Tomas works as a junior partner. Naomi also happens to be assisting with Madison’s case, Madison being Chelsea Hamilton‘s fiancรฉe, Chelsea being Bill’s other daughter and Naomi’s own sister. None of that has anything to do with Tomas directly, and yet he keeps giving Naomi grief over it anyway.
That reaction says more about Tomas than it does about Naomi. A colleague’s father is in the hospital, and instead of gratitude that someone competent is holding things together, Tomas Navarro is treating her presence like a personal insult. Everyone around him, including coworkers, has noticed the pettiness, and nobody is impressed.
Comfort for Eva, Because Old Habits Never Die
While Naomi gets grief, Eva gets something else entirely. Tomas has been confiding in her again, and it did not stop at conversation; he pulled her into a tight hug and buried his face in her hair like a man who has clearly not put that history behind him. This is not casual comfort between old friends. This reads exactly like the same slow slide that got him onto Eva’s couch undressed and more the first time around.
Kat deserves better than watching Tomas cycle through the same pattern that already blew up their relationship once. Tomas had every opportunity to prove he learned something from getting caught, and instead he is back in the same emotional territory with the same woman, minus the towel this time.
Do you think Tomas ever actually changes, or is this simply who he is? Sound off in the comments below.
Tomas Navarro Learned Nothing
Tomas Navarro had his wake-up call already, caught in a towel, a denied marriage proposal, and somehow still ended up right back at Eva’s side while giving Naomi grief for simply trying to help her hospitalized father. That is not a man learning from his mistakes.
