DAYS SHOCKING: BRADY BLACK UNCOVERS FAKE CHICAGO ADOPTION — BABY BOY STILL IN SALEM!

TL;DR: On Days of Our Lives, Brady Black discovers Sophia Choi’s Chicago adoption story is completely fake, with Tate’s baby actually being a boy in Salem foster care, not an adopted daughter in Chicago.

The Adoption That Never Happened

Hold onto your seats, DAYS fans! The baby bombshell we’ve been waiting for is FINALLY exploding, and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is the one lighting the fuse!

Remember when Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) tearfully told Tate Black (Leo Howard) that their baby daughter was adopted by a loving Chicago family? Yeah, about that…

LIES. All lies!

What Really Happened to Tate’s Baby?

Tate Black’s baby was never adopted — the infant boy is alive and in Salem’s foster care system, not with any Chicago family.

Here’s what actually went down: Sophia gave birth to a BOY (not the girl she claimed), and with help from corrupt District Attorney Melinda Trask, she fabricated the entire adoption story. No Chicago family. No adoption attorney. Just a scared teenage mother and a scheming DA who placed the baby in local foster care while creating elaborate fake paperwork!

Brady’s gut instinct was spot-on. Something about Sophia’s story never sat right with him — probably because he’s dealt with enough manipulation from Kristen DiMera to spot a liar from a mile away! And when he discovered that the adoption attorney Sophia claimed to use has absolutely NO record of any adoption? Game over.

How Will Brady and Steve Expose the Truth?

Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is officially on the case, and if there’s one thing we know about Salem’s most legendary PI, it’s that he ALWAYS gets his man… or in this case, his grandchild!

During the week of September 8-12, the dynamic duo will uncover critical clues. What kind of clues? Think medical records that don’t add up, financial trails that lead nowhere good, and a certain Chief of Staff who might just “accidentally” let something slip…

That’s right — Kayla Brady is perfectly positioned to discover that Sophia gave birth at Salem University Hospital to a baby BOY, not in Chicago to a girl. Will doctor-patient confidentiality stop her from helping her husband? Please. This is Salem!

Is Tate Even the Father?

Here’s where things get REALLY juicy…

The show keeps hammering home that Tate and Sophia “used protection.” You know what that means in soap opera land, right? It means they’re setting us up for a paternity shocker!

Remember that afternoon when Sophia was devastated after Tate called her Holly’s name during an argument? She spent that entire afternoon with Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo). Alone. Comforting each other.

Do the math, people!

Aaron tried to confess something to Tate before leaving town but chickened out. Then he mysteriously returns RIGHT when Sophia goes into labor? That’s not a coincidence — that’s soap opera foreshadowing at its finest!

What’s Next for Salem’s Teen Scene?

Could this mean Tate is off the hook for fatherhood? Given Days’ history with paternity twists (hello, Sami’s twins having different fathers!), don’t be surprised if Aaron turns out to be daddy dearest. This would free Tate to pursue Holly Jonas without baby drama AND give Sophia a chance at redemption with the actual father.

Don’t be surprised if this all explodes during November sweeps, just in time for the show’s 60th anniversary. We’re talking about John Black’s potential first biological great-grandchild here — this is LEGACY territory!

Given Melinda’s involvement, her career is toast. You can’t fake adoption papers and secretly place a Black family baby in foster care without consequences. And Sophia? That college dream she was so desperate to protect? Yeah, that’s probably going up in smoke too.

The Fallout Will Be EPIC

Brady didn’t survive years of Kristen’s manipulations to miss THIS con job.

Steve has solved every major Salem mystery for decades.

Kayla has access to every medical record that matters.

This fake adoption house of cards? It’s coming down HARD.

The real question isn’t IF the truth will come out — it’s how many lives will be destroyed when it does. Will Tate ever forgive Sophia for letting him grieve a daughter who never existed while his son was right there in Salem? Will Aaron step up if he’s the real father? And what happens when Brady and Theresa realize their grandchild has been in foster care this whole time?

One thing’s for sure — Salem’s younger generation is about to learn that you do NOT mess with the Black and Brady families. Not when Brady’s protective instincts are in overdrive and Steve “Patch” Johnson is on the case!
