Cat Triggers EJ’s Memory About Italy & This Destiny Romance Is About To Get MESSY
Thursday’s Days of Our Lives is serving us the moment we’ve been waiting for! Cat Greene triggers EJ DiMera’s memory, and he’s FINALLY going to realize she was the one reading Wuthering Heights to him when he was comatose at that clinic in Italy!
For WEEKS now, EJ has been having these weird flashbacks about hearing someone’s voice reading from Wuthering Heights while he was in a coma. He’s been holding that book, staring at it, trying to figure out why it feels so significant. And Thursday is when all the puzzle pieces click into place!
Cat and EJ were BOTH recovering at the same Italian clinic after their respective traumas—EJ was there after being shot, and Cat was there after the car accident that killed her father and left her needing facial reconstruction. Neither of them was fully conscious at the time, but Cat read Wuthering Heights to EJ during his recovery!
The spoilers say Cat “triggers” EJ’s memory on Thursday, which means she probably says or does something specific that makes EJ flash back to that moment in Italy. Maybe she quotes a passage from the book? Maybe her voice inflection reminds him of something? Whatever it is, EJ is about to have a MAJOR realization!

One of them is 10 years old and one is a teenager, but never mind. They have certain things in common. And we’re not talking the love of kittens.
Wednesday’s spoilers revealed that Sophia SHOCKED Rachel by revealing she’s been faking her catatonic state this whole time. Now on Thursday, the two troubled girls are actually BONDING over their shared experiences! Shared manipulation tactics, perhaps!
Think about what these two have in common: They’re both kids who made terrible decisions. They both manipulated people. They both ended up in Bayview as a result of their actions. And they both feel misunderstood by the adults in their lives! Boo. Hoo.
Rachel tried to murder Sarah Horton with pistachio ice cream and shot EJ DiMera. Sophia tried to trap Tate into raising a baby that wasn’t his, and manipulated everyone around her. These two forming a bond is like watching the beginning of a supervillain origin story! Like Not-So-Super Woman and Not-Quite-Wonder Woman morph into one big, messy villain. Any name ideas? Rachiavillain!? Sophellain!? We’d better keep thinking.
What are they going to plot together? Are they going to help each other escape from Bayview? Are they going to manipulate the doctors and staff? Are they going to team up against their parents? Are they going to become each other’s bad influences and make their situations WORSE? Will they try to take another person with severe nut allergies? By way of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup? Stranger things have happened!
Brady is going to absolutely LOSE IT when he finds out Sophia has been faking her condition and bonding with his troubled daughter! And poor Tate is going to be devastated that his ex-girlfriend is corrupting his little sister! These two shouldn’t even be PEN PALS, much less hang out together in each other’s bedrooms.
