Could Billie Reed Be Heading Back to Salem? Lisa Rinna Says “Never Say Never!”

Hold onto your seats, Days of our Lives fans, because one of Salem’s most memorable residents might be plotting a return! Lisa Rinna, who brought the unforgettable Billie Reed to life, is dropping hints about possibly stepping back into those iconic shoes, and we’re here for every dramatic moment of it!

“I Never Say No” – Rinna’s Ready for Salem

In a deliciously candid interview with Distractify, Rinna spilled all the tea about potentially returning to her soap opera roots. “Listen, I never say no, really, to anything,” she confessed, sending fans into a frenzy of speculation. “I’m always open to revisiting these characters that I love. You know, I love drama.”

And drama is something Billie Reed definitely brought to Salem! For those who might need a refresher, Rinna embodied the role for three spectacular seasons before trading Salem’s secrets for Melrose Place’s scandals as Taylor McBride. But Salem never quite forgot her – and neither did she, as proven by her recent appearance in the Peacock special Beyond Salem.

The Right Time for a Return?

What would it take to get Billie back on our screens? According to Rinna, she’d be ready to pack her bags for Salem “if it felt right” and “if it made sense.” Translation? If those DAYS producers picked up the phone tomorrow, they might just find a very receptive Rinna on the other end!

From Salem to Split Personalities

While we wait for that potential Salem comeback, Rinna isn’t letting her dramatic talents go to waste. She’s currently serving up double the drama in Walmart’s “Deals of Desire” 2024 holiday campaign, finally fulfilling every soap star’s dream – playing twins!

In this deliciously soapy role, Rinna plays Faith Cooper, who discovers she has a long-lost twin named Lilith. But this isn’t your heartwarming family reunion story! In true soap opera fashion, Lilith turns out to be plotting against her sister, scheming to steal her money with help from a mysterious boyfriend. Talk about keeping those dramatic chops sharp!

“I think if you’ve ever done a soap opera or watched a soap opera, it’s kind of the goal. You’d love to be able to play a twin, right?” Rinna shared excitedly. “It’s a classic soap opera. And so when they asked me to play twins, I thought, ‘Oh my god, yes, I can’t wait.'”

What Do You Think?

Could this twin-playing practice be the perfect warm-up for a return to Salem? Maybe Billie has a long-lost twin we don’t know about yet? (Hey, stranger things have happened in Salem!)
