Days of Our Lives Recap: March 1st 2023
In this episode of Days of Our Lives, Johnny runs into Chanel while she’s putting up a help wanted sign in the bakery. Chanel complains about being short-staffed since Allie left and informs Johnny that Allie has moved to New Zealand with Will after sleeping with Alex. Johnny is shocked to hear about this, and the two head to the pub to talk more about it. Johnny takes a couple of shots while ranting over Allie moving without telling him, but eventually calms down and suggests that Chanel deserves to be happy and with someone as amazing and special as she is. They toast to happiness, hope and no more heartbreak.
In another scene, Wendy tells Li and Gabi that Tripp is moving in with them. Li declares that Tripp will have to bunk on the couch as Gabi refuses to share a bed with him. Wendy disagrees because she made an agreement with Tripp first. Li states that they will find somewhere else to live, but Gabi starts to unpack her things. Meanwhile, Nicole comes home to EJ, and he reveals that Stefan has been drugging him. He plans to switch the drinks so that Stefan drugs himself and will be thrown out of the mansion when he starts acting erratically. Nicole agrees to be his accomplice/drinking buddy.
Stefan visits Chloe’s hotel room and tells her that he can’t be with her because he loves two women. Chloe is hurt but admits that she never felt like his feelings were genuine. Stefan apologizes and tells her that he wants to be with Gabi. She’s happy for him and admits that maybe she can be with Brady at some point. In another scene, Tripp finds Joey texting his girlfriend in the Square and tells him that he’s thinking of moving in with Wendy. Joey is thrilled to hear it but Tripp declares it’s a platonic situation since she’s dating Johnny.
Wendy tells Tripp that Li will be sleeping on the couch so that he can have the third bedroom. Johnny and Chanel arrive at the Pub, and Wendy’s face falls. She confronts Johnny, who assures her that they’re just friends. Wendy tells them that she knows they’re just friends, just like her and Tripp. Later, EJ and Nicole clink crystal glasses and talk about their relationship. Nicole assures EJ that this is exactly where she wants to be, and Eric is in her past.
