Days of Our Lives Recap March 8th: Infidelity, Legal Troubles, and Drugging Accusations
In the latest episode of Days of Our Lives, the drama continued to heat up as legal troubles, infidelity, and drugging accusations took center stage. Belle visits Paulina’s office and admits that the check for her retainer bounced, leading to the discovery that all of Paulina’s assets have been frozen. Sloan shows up and demands court approval for all expenditures and reminds Paulina of the eight-figure judgment she expects. Sloan vows to take everything from Paulina and Chanel, who she blames for her mother’s wrongful death.
In the town square, Chanel speaks with Abe about her breakup with Allie and reveals that Johnny has already moved on with Wendy, leaving her at a crossroads. Later, a woman named Talia expresses interest in a job at Chanel’s bakery, but Chanel insists she needs to fill out an application first. Meanwhile, Eric continues his affair with Sloan, despite Nicole’s warnings about her character.
Over at DiMera, EJ and Johnny discuss Wendy’s knowledge of Stefan’s possible drug use, leading to suspicions of one brother drugging the other. Later, EJ pretends to feel the effects of the drugs, while Stefan seemingly gets away with dosing him again. Meanwhile, Li confronts Stefan and Gabi about their kiss in the park, but Stefan lies and says it was one-sided. Li warns Gabi that their deal becomes null and void if she cheats on him, causing tension between her and Stefan.
Back in Paulina’s office, Belle vows to get the frozen assets undone, but Sloan insists that Paulina will be ruined and that she’ll take everything from her and Chanel. Paulina tells Belle that if it comes down to saving money or Chanel, she wants to be the one thrown under the bus. Meanwhile, Gabi continues to play Li while also trying to maintain her deal with him.
As always, Days of Our Lives delivers the drama and keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. With legal battles, relationship issues, and accusations of drugging, it’s clear that there’s never a dull moment in Salem. The question is, who will come out on top and who will be left in ruin?
