Jada’s Concern: Harris and Ava’s Love Story

Sparks are flying in Salem as Jada Hunter confronts Harris Michaels about his steamy romance with none other than Ava Vitali. Jada’s got it in her head that this cop-and-mobster love story is a surefire recipe for disaster, and she’s determined to make Harris see the light.

Harris’ Defense: Ava’s More Than a Mafia Princess

Jada’s convinced that Harris is just too darn good at his job to throw it all away for a fling with a woman who’s got “Mafia princess” written all over her. But Harris? He’s not having any of it. In his eyes, Ava’s not just some mob boss’s daughter – she’s the mother of Dr. Tripp Johnson, and that’s all that matters.

Ava’s Involvement with Clyde Weston

What Jada seems to be forgetting is that Ava never would’ve gotten mixed up with Clyde Weston and his crew if it weren’t for the fact that they were holding Tripp’s safety over her head. And let’s not forget, if it weren’t for Ava coming clean to Harris about the whole mess, Tripp and Wendy Shin might not be alive today.

Harris and Ava’s Unbreakable Bond

At the end of the day, Harris and Ava are head over heels for each other, and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to protect their love – even if that means covering for each other when push comes to shove. Ava’s not about to rat out Harris for his deal with Stefan DiMera, and Harris sure as heck isn’t going to throw Ava under the bus either.

Jada’s Persistence and Harris’ Annoyance

But Jada? She’s not giving up that easily. She keeps mothering Harris and giving him advice he didn’t ask for, and it’s starting to get on his last nerve. Sure, he knows she means well, but enough is enough.

Harris has to remind Jada that he’s a grown man who can make his own decisions – even if that means shacking up with a woman who’s got a past. But Jada’s not so sure. She’s been burned before, thanks to her no-good ex-husband Bobby Stein (aka Everett Lynch), and she’s worried that Harris is setting himself up for a world of hurt.

Only time will tell if Harris and Ava’s love can weather the storm, or if Jada’s warnings will prove to be more than just a bunch of hot air.
