First things first, our hearts are absolutely breaking for Sarah Horton-Cook. The poor thing survived a hit-and-run accident that had us all on the edge of our seats! After a marathon surgery (kudos to the Salem U hospital staff!), Sarah pulled through like the fighter she is. But here’s the kicker – she can’t feel anything from the waist down. I don’t know about you, but I audibly gasped when that bombshell dropped!

Kayla Johnson, ever the professional, tried to keep things optimistic. She mentioned that Sarah’s spleen and liver took a beating, but miraculously, no broken bones! Small victories, right? But that numbness… it’s giving me chills. Is our Sarah facing a life-changing diagnosis? The thought of her potentially being paralyzed is just too much to bear.

Xander, bless his heart, has been by her side through it all. The look on his face when Sarah couldn’t feel his touch – somebody pass me the tissues! The web of lies he spun to Marlena about sleeping at the office had me raising an eyebrow. And don’t even get me started on that phone call with Fiona Cook. The way she claimed Brady insisted he was fine to drive home… I’m not buying it, and neither should you!

But here’s where it gets really interesting. Brady recalled hearing screeching tires and screaming. Could our Brady be involved in Sarah’s accident? The guilt written all over his face when he “found out” about Sarah’s accident was as clear as day. Oh, Brady, what have you done?

Kristen’s Growing Suspicion

Speaking of Brady, his ex Kristen DiMera might be onto something. After overhearing Paulina Price mention a gray car involved in a hit-and-run, you could practically see the lightbulb go off in Kristen’s head. And when little Rachel innocently mentioned her daddy’s gray car? Oh boy, Kristen’s face was a study in suspicion.

I’ve got to hand it to the DAYS writers – the way they’re weaving these storylines together is masterful. Kristen’s protective mama bear instincts are kicking into high gear, and I have a feeling she’s not going to rest until she gets to the bottom of this. Watch out, Brady!

Jada’s Determined Investigation

Thank goodness for Detective Jada Hunter! She’s on the case like white on rice, piecing together clues faster than you can say “Salem PD.” Gray paint on a pole? Check. Establishing a timeline? You bet. Our girl Jada is not messing around.

But here’s the thing – Jada’s conversation with Xander about the driver sticking around for 20 minutes after the accident? That’s got my Spidey senses tingling. Could the driver have been someone Sarah knows? Or maybe someone who panicked and didn’t know what to do? The plot thickens!
