Whatever he pulls out of his sleeve, Stephanie Johnson has earned a bit of good news.
Johnny weighs a decision that could upend his world, and Chanel makes it clear she isn’t going anywhere, even with the rot at DiMera creeping closer to home. Over at the Horton house, Kate Roberts puts together a scheme to lighten the load for Maggie Kiriakis, who has spent weeks worrying about Philip, the gambling and the fate of Titan.
Tuesday, October 6th
Rachel Black‘s conversation with Brady Black leaves him with a nagging sense that something is off, and for a man already juggling a private-eye caseload, a lawsuit hanging over Sarah and a family mystery, that is the last thing he needs. Roman Brady shows up at a moment that throws Kate for a loop, which rarely happens to a woman who usually knows what is coming before anyone else does.
Theo Carver throws in with Gabi DiMera, an unlikely partnership given that she turned on him not long ago before offering a sincere-sounding apology. EJ goes after Rita for answers about Dominic Marino, the stranger whose link to the DiMera name he still cannot explain. Brady, who has been quietly helping Steve chase down the truth about Dominic, ends up cornered by a dilemma that forces him to pick a side, and none of his options come without a cost.
Thursday, October 8th
Dante Vitali turns up with a surprise for Sydney DiMera, and given his boarding school history with Dominic, his timing is worth noticing. Paulina Price digs in her heels rather than abandon Lani Price, no matter how complicated Lani’s past with the law has become. Chanel wants Johnny’s word on something at a moment when his promises are getting expensive.
Marlena hands Belle a stunning confession, and after weeks of nightmares and a birth certificate she cannot shake, it could be about far more than she has admitted so far. Jada leans on EJ with some pointed questions, and he has plenty of practice dodging them without actually answering.
Friday, October 9th
Kayla Brady Johnson hands Joy her discharge instructions, and Joy hates every word, a reaction that suggests she would rather stay put. Alex and Stephanie steal a few private minutes, and Belle calls on Chad DiMera for backup, a smart call from a woman who knows he is already knee-deep in the Dominic puzzle.
Kristen tracks down Sophia, adding a fresh wrinkle to a story many people had written off as over. Sophia is the birth mother of the baby Johnny and Chanel are raising, so the stakes reach straight into their living room. Steve Johnson also gets some troubling news from Johnny, a reminder that the mess at DiMera is spilling into his own investigation.
