DAYS OF OUR LIVES SPOILERS: STEPHANIE JOHNSON WALKS AND ALEX KIRIAKIS STALLS

TL;DR: Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 11, 2026 land on a marriage in pieces, a captive with one card left to play, and a son sitting on his mother’s diagnosis. Stephanie Johnson has made her call. Alex Kiriakis has not made his.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Put Stephanie Johnson in an Impossible Spot

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 11, 2026 open on a marriage that was already hanging by a thread. On Monday, Stephanie Johnson made a heartbreaking decision about where she stands with Alex Kiriakis, and it arrived barely seventy-two hours after Joy Wesley received a diagnosis that reshapes their whole arrangement. Two beats, one weekend apart. The timing is the story.

Joy’s spinal stenosis is not a bargaining chip. It is a spine condition that worsens over time, and it hands her a real claim on Alex’s hours, his attention, and his wallet. That is what makes this so uncomfortable. Nobody in this triangle is lying, and nobody is entirely wrong.

Stephanie has been absorbing the cost of this for months. She married Alex in February and has spent the time since sharing him with a baby he co-parents with Joy and a woman whose needs keep growing. Monday she stopped absorbing. The rest of our daily Salem reporting sits with our wider daytime coverage, and the pattern running through it is not subtle.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Leave Leo Stark Cornered in Alamainia

Leo Stark and Gwen Rizczech are still being held in Alamainia, and their last plan fell apart in humiliating fashion when Dimitri von Leuschner saw straight through Leo’s faked illness. Tuesday, Leo tries a different door. He puts an offer in front of Dimitri that circulating spoiler chatter is calling shocking, and not one detail of it has leaked.

My gut tells me Leo is offering the only thing Dimitri has ever actually wanted, which is Leo himself. Gwen has her own exit forming, because by Thursday Rafe is expected to put a tempting deal in front of her. If Salem law enforcement knows where these two are, the captivity has a clock on it. Whether they walk out as allies is another question entirely.

What Happens on Days of Our Lives on Tuesday, August 11?

Four threads move Tuesday. Leo makes his offer, Theo Carver hides the truth about his mother from Abe CarverBelle Black makes her case to Marlena Evans, and Chad DiMera asks Cat Greene for a favor. The Carver material is the one that will hurt.

Lexie Carver told Theo she was visiting his grandmother. She was not. Theo has worked out that his mother is dying again, and he chooses to sit on it rather than hand his father that news on his birthday. Abe has already lost this woman once. Theo is buying him a few more hours of not knowing, which is either the kindest act in Salem or the cruelest.

Here is the connection worth sitting with. Joy’s diagnosis streamed Friday, Stephanie’s decision streamed Monday, and Abe’s birthday lands Tuesday. Three days, three households, and in every single one of them somebody is being asked to carry another person’s bad news. That is a writers’ room lining up its dominoes on purpose.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Send Alex Kiriakis to Steve Johnson

By Thursday, Alex is turning to Steve Johnson for help, and that is a loaded call to place. Steve runs a private investigation firm and he is also Stephanie’s father. Alex is effectively asking his wife’s dad to clean up the mess she just walked out of. Don’t be surprised if Steve takes the job and resents every hour of it.

Belle’s request to Marlena is quieter, but it matters. She wants to keep pulling on the chess set Stefano left behind, and Marlena believes that particular string is tied to something dangerous. Reading between the lines, Chad’s favor from Cat belongs to the same push, because Cat has the one thing Belle and Chad do not, which is standing inside DiMera. New episodes stream weekday mornings on Peacock.

The comment section on this one is going to be a war zone, and I want to know which side you land on.

Stephanie Is Right and It Still Costs Her Everything

I do not think Stephanie is wrong. She married a man in February and by August she was a guest in her own marriage, and there is no version of holding her ground that does not look selfish to somebody. Joy did not choose a failing spine. Stephanie did not choose to be the third adult in a two-person parenting arrangement.

The part I keep turning over is Alex. He has never once picked, and Thursday he hands the problem to a private investigator instead of making a decision himself. That is a man hoping someone else will choose for him. Come argue with me about it on our Facebook page, because the split on this one looks close to even.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is wrong with Joy Wesley on Days of Our Lives?

Joy was diagnosed with spinal stenosis on the August 7, 2026 episode. It is a narrowing of the spinal canal that compresses the nerves and tends to worsen over time. The diagnosis reshapes her custody arrangement with Alex Kiriakis and puts direct pressure on his marriage.

Are Stephanie Johnson and Alex Kiriakis getting divorced?

No divorce has been confirmed. Stephanie made a heartbreaking decision about the marriage on the August 10, 2026 episode, and Alex turns to Steve Johnson for help on August 13. Where the marriage lands has not been reported, so treat a split as unconfirmed.

Is Lexie Carver dying on Days of Our Lives?

Lexie is in terminal decline following her March 2026 resurrection, and Dr. Rolf has been unable to reverse it. No death date has been confirmed anywhere. Theo Carver learns the truth first and hides it from Abe Carver, with a devastating discovery landing August 14.
