That is the whole statement from the head writers. No name for the companion, no actor, no month, no episode number. Everything else circulating right now is somebody filling in a blank.

Kristen has been off the canvas since August 6. She turned up at her daughter’s door dressed as Susan Banks, and Brady Black recognised her inside of a minute. She told him she was in danger from her brother, asked him to look after Rachel, handed him a way to reach her in an emergency and refused to say where she was going. Then she cried, and she left. That is a woman with a plan, not a woman running.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Put Stefano’s Ring on a Stranger’s Hand

On September 4 an unidentified figure in a suit poured champagne beside a framed photograph of Stefano, moved a pawn on a chessboard, and watched a live feed of EJ DiMera at the Salem airport hangar on a tablet. Four days later the same figure opened a mailer in a study, took out Stefano’s phoenix ring and slid it onto his pinky. No face. No name. Not one word of dialogue.

The ring got there because Rita Lesley lifted it off EJ’s coffee table on September 4 and then lied to his face about it on September 8. Be careful with the next part, because a lot of people are getting it wrong. No scene has ever shown Rita posting that ring anywhere. She pocketed it, and separately a man opened an envelope. The show has not joined those two moments, and we covered the night the ring first surfaced without joining them either.

Then there is Dominic Marino, the reclusive Italian billionaire who paid cash for the Kiriakis mansion and turns out to own the Rome palazzo at the end of Stefano’s chess trail. In an upcoming episode Marlena Evans points out that Marino means of the sea, and so does DiMera. Lovely line. Worth noting that the Italian word for sea is mare, not mera, so the wordplay is looser than it sounds.

Who Does Kristen DiMera Come Back With on Days of Our Lives?

Nobody knows, and anyone telling you otherwise is guessing. Days of Our Lives spoilers have not named the companion at any level, and no casting announcement exists for the role. No actor has been attached to the man in the study either, and Marino has never once appeared on screen. Three separate mysteries, and so far the show has not laid a finger on any line connecting them.

Here is the piece nobody is picking up. Peter Blake came back to Salem last December, locked five DiMeras in the family crypt, and died in a hospital bed on January 8 after somebody put a needle in his drip with Dr Rolf standing a few feet away. An autopsy was ordered. The show has never said what happened to the body. And on February 10, at Stefano’s crypt, Kristen stood there and blamed EJ for her brother’s death in front of the whole family.

Where Days of Our Lives Spoilers Leave EJ DiMera

So EJ has a sister with a documented grudge, a missing heirloom, a buyer he cannot get a read on and a chess set his father left behind like a landmine. Reading between the lines, the person Kristen brings home is somebody the audience already has a reason to care about, because a stranger would waste the setup. Don’t be surprised if the ring and the return turn out to be the same story told from two ends. Compare notes with the rest of daytime’s autumn slate and no other soap is running an identity puzzle this patient.

Kristen Never Needed Backup Before

That is what nags at us. This woman has run every scheme in this town solo, usually with a wig and a fake accent, and she has never once needed a partner to do it. So either the writers have handed her somebody with money and reach she genuinely cannot match, or the partner is the actual story and Kristen is the delivery van.
