Marlena sat down to read it. The father’s line said Stefano DiMera. Then she reached the mother’s line and found her own name there, Marlena Evans. That is where the episode left her, staring at a phone screen with no explanation attached.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Marlena Told Roman the Memories Keep Coming

Before Steve ever knocked, Marlena had already had a rough day. The same fragments of her time on Stefano’s island came back to her again, and when Roman Brady stopped by, she told him the memories frighten her and so do the questions nobody can answer.

Roman had done some digging of his own. He had talked to Sami Brady, and by her account Dante Vitali has had little to do with Dominic since their boarding school days. Roman promised Marlena she could lean on him whenever she needs to, and she told him that helped more than he knew.

Chad DiMera welcomed Kate Roberts to The Spectator and wasted no time putting her to work on the mystery. He filled her in on Italy and showed her the photograph of young Dominic with Stefano. Kate had never seen the man, but she said the name rang a bell.

Chad walked her through the rest of what he and Belle turned up in Italy. Kate’s warning was pure Kate. With Stefano, the game only ends when Stefano wins.

Sarah Horton and Kayla Johnson Went Looking for Proof

At the hospital, Kayla Johnson told Sarah Horton she is not fighting the wrongful death suit alone. The two of them pulled Destiny’s files and went through them looking for evidence, and both came away suspecting somebody arranged all of this on purpose.

Sarah has been bracing for a hit ever since her anonymous complaint about Coriseal went to the FDA. On Tuesday she admitted her real fear is losing her license. Friday gave her no reason to relax.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Philip and Gabi Gave It Another Shot

Philip Kiriakis and Gabi Hernandez came home from Monte Carlo and had to decide what it meant. Philip admitted the winner’s high had worn off now that they were back in Salem. What had not worn off was how he feels about her.

He said he was willing to try again if she was, and Gabi did not need to be asked twice. After everything Titan has cost this family, a little happiness for Philip feels overdue.
