Days Of Our Lives
Cat Greene’s MELTDOWN & PLEA FOR HELP Pulls EJ DiMera Back INTO the FIRE! These Tuesday DAYS Spoilers Are EXPLOSIVE!
Cat begs EJ for help as Kayla confirms Marlena’s diagnosis, Belle leans on Paulina, and Brady fails to reach Rachel.
CAT GREENE DRAGS EJ DIMERA INTO HER DISASTER — PLUS, MARLENA’S DIAGNOSIS AND RACHEL’S DARK TURN RATTLES SALEM
TL;DR: On Days of Our Lives Tuesday, December 2, Cat Greene shows up in full panic and begs EJ DiMera to fix the latest mess she’s made. Because why would SHE fix her own problem when EJ is so close and so easy to manipulate? Plus, Kayla Brady Johnson finally puts a name to Marlena Evans’ mysterious symptoms (we figure it’s either PTSD or she’s about to levitate!), Belle Black turns to Paulina Price when the news hits too hard, Brady Black fails to break through Rachel Black’s armor, and Leo Stark and Javi Hernandez have a deeply uncomfortable run-in with Gwen Rizczech that could set up their next big problem. Grab your stressballs, hourglass lovers! We’re in for it this week!
Cat Greene Hijacks EJ DiMera’s Day
EJ DiMera wakes up thinking he has a handle on his life again. He’s wrong. Cat Greene barrels into his orbit like a walking siren, talking fast, eyes wild, and absolutely convinced that whatever disaster she’s created can only be fixed by one man: EJ.
She doesn’t ask for help politely. She pleads. She pushes. She “I know you’re busy BUT—”s him until he doesn’t even remember what he was supposed to be doing ten minutes ago. And the more she talks, the more obvious it becomes that this isn’t some minor social faux pas. This feels like the kind of mess that could cost people jobs, reputations, or one of those precious DiMera assets EJ pretends he isn’t obsessed with.
We don’t know every detail yet, but Tuesday has “first domino” written all over it. Cat drags EJ in under the banner of “you’re the only one smart enough to fix this,” and EJ, being a DiMera, cannot resist the siren song of being right, powerful, and needed. God help him.

Kayla Brady Johnson Confirms Marlena Evans’ Diagnosis
Across town, the drama is quieter but potentially just as devastating when Kayla Brady Johnson finally gives Marlena Evans an official diagnosis, and it’s serious enough to land on every spoiler list for the week. We’re not told the exact medical terminology in advance, but any time Kayla is confirming something instead of ruling things out, it’s bad news.
Marlena has been trying to pretend she’s fine ever since she started feeling off. She’s the therapist, the rock, the one everyone else collapses on. Admitting she needs help herself is not her favorite game. But there’s no “mind over matter” when Kayla is staring at charts and using words like “monitor,” “treatment,” and “long-term.” We don’t think she’s looking at Satan showing up in her red blood cells just yet. This feels different.
And what makes this even heavier is the context. Marlena is still grieving John, still trying to figure out who she is without him at her side, and now her body has decided to join the emotional chaos. This is the kind of storyline that doesn’t wrap in a week; it digs in and forces everyone around her to re-evaluate their priorities. Because Marlena is arguably the foundation of Salem. A pillar. And a pillar should be in pristine condition. We don’t LIKE it when Marlena’s suffering. Writers, are you listening? Heal her! Heal her NOW!
Belle Black Turns to Paulina Price
That “everyone” we suggested evaluate their priorities definitely includes Belle Black. One spoiler says that Belle turns to Paulina Price for support. Which sounds simple, but it screams that Belle finally hits the point where she can’t keep pretending everything is fine.
Paulina is exactly who you want when your world starts wobbling. She’s loud where Salem is repressed, hopeful where Salem is cynical, and has zero patience for people pretending they’re okay when they’re clearly not. Belle asking for help is a big deal all by itself. Belle choosing Paulina is an even bigger one.
Don’t be surprised if this conversation becomes the backbone of Belle’s next move — legally, emotionally, or in terms of who she decides to stand with when Marlena’s treatment plan starts disrupting everything.
Somewhere out there, other Days of Our Lives previews are hinting that this winter arc is only going to get messier. Avalanche in your backyard messier. That tracks.
Brady Black Still Can’t Break Through to Rachel
Meanwhile, Brady Black is trying to do something that might actually be harder than dealing with DiMeras and Devils: parenting Rachel Black. The spoiler that he “struggles to get through to Rachel” is doing a LOT of work here, because lately his attempts at heart-to-heart talks have gone about as well as you’d expect from a girl who’s been bounced between parents, secrets, and half a dozen moral gray zones. She’s also a very naughty little biscuit.
Because Rachel isn’t just being bratty. She’s a conniver who’s shutting down, digging in, and clearly nursing some resentments that are way too complex for someone her age but absolutely understandable given her parents. Brady’s biggest fear has always been that she’ll start leaning into her more dangerous influences, and you can practically feel that fear humming under every word he says.
If Tuesday’s conversation goes as badly as the spoiler implies, Brady may have to stop trying to “reason” with Rachel and start asking who else is whispering in her ear. (Hint, hint, nudge, nudge. Could the one who’s whispering be SOPHIA, our “I forgot how to talk” victim who is revealed in Winter Spoilers to be a regular Chatty Cathy?! Stay tuned.)
Leo Stark and Javi Hernandez vs. Gwen Rizczech
And then there’s the delightfully awkward cherry on top of the episode: Leo Stark and Javi Hernandez have a not-at-all-friendly encounter with Gwen Rizczech. The word “scratchy” has already done its time in the spoiler rotation, so let’s call it what it is: tense, prickly, and loaded.
Gwen is not the kind of woman who just lets things slide. If she catches even a whiff of a secret between Leo and Javi, she’ll file it away for later use. Leo, usually the king of quips, might find his mouth working faster than his brain. Javi will probably try to pretend he’s not panicking. None of it will fool Gwen for a second.
This may look like a quick hallway scene on Tuesday, but it smells like setup — the kind of small, charged moment that writers love to circle back to when they’re ready to blow up everyone’s lives at once. Sign us up! We’re ready for it, whatever IT is!
Drop your predictions below: is Gwen about to weaponize whatever she sees between Leo and Javi, or will she save it for the exact wrong moment later?
