Days Of Our Lives
DAYS WILD SPECULATION! Gabi DiMera Is Sitting on a Fortune That Could Save Titan and the DiMera Throne Could Come With It!
Gabi DiMera is Stefan’s widow with the money to save Titan. And once that guilt is settled, the DiMera CEO chair is right there waiting.

GABI DIMERA HOLDS STEFAN’S FORTUNE AND TITAN NEEDS EVERY PENNY
TL;DR: Gabi DiMera is Stefan’s widow, has the money that could save Titan, and is feeling guilty enough about the bug she planted that she might actually use it. And once that guilt is handled, Days of Our Lives has a DiMera CEO chair that is very much still available and a son named Johnny who has absolutely no idea what is coming for him.
Gabi’s Money Could Clean Up Bonnie’s Book Mess
Bonnie Kiriakis wrote a book. Kate Roberts noticed it bore a remarkable resemblance to Stephanie Johnson‘s bestseller “One Stormy Night.” This was not a coincidence. Kate and Xander Kiriakis had been watching Bonnie’s “One Stormy Afternoon” move toward publication knowing exactly what they would do the moment it landed. Titan cannot make its loan payments. The Kiriakis estate is on the line. And a successful plagiarism lawsuit against the company that published Bonnie’s book under Johnny DiMera‘s leadership could generate the payout that keeps the mansion and the business alive.
It is an elegant little scheme. It cost Gabi DiMera nothing to engineer, except for one small detail. Gabi is the reason Titan is in this position in the first place, and she has known it the entire time.

The Bug, the Guilt, and the Fortune Attached to Both
Gabi DiMera planted a bug in the Kiriakis CEO office and fed information to Tony DiMera that helped him dismantle the Titan-DiMera merger from the inside. She wanted the DiMera CEO job. She got a relationship with Philip Kiriakis instead, which was going beautifully right up until Anna DiMera walked into Titan this week and told Philip exactly what Gabi had done.
The timing is catastrophic for Gabi personally. And at the exact moment her relationship is combusting, she is also sitting on proof that Vivian Alamain forged her divorce papers from Stefan DiMera. Which means Gabi is Stefan’s widow. Which means she is entitled to a significant slice of the DiMera fortune from Stefano’s estate. Which means the woman who quietly wrecked Titan is now holding the check that could fix it.
Salem has a very specific sense of humor and this week it is showing.
The Guilt Theory and Why It Has Legs
Gabi has been watching Philip pour time and genuine devotion into helping her get her share of the DiMera estate. He went to Europe to retrieve the proof of the forgery. He tried to hold Titan together while not knowing she was the accelerant on that particular fire. And now he knows.
The question is not whether Gabi has the money to help. She does. The question is whether using Stefan’s inheritance to ease her conscience is going to feel like redemption or the opening move in a much larger play. Because Gabi DiMera has never in her life done anything for one reason when two were available, and Salem’s history with generous-seeming gestures strongly suggests this bailout, if it happens, comes wrapped in something that is not entirely about the Kiriakis family.
The Kiriakis family gets their money. Gabi gets her guilt off the ledger. And then she is free.
The Chair Nobody Has Managed to Hold Onto
The DiMera CEO seat has been a revolving door. Tony DiMera wants Johnny DiMera out. He offered the job to Gabi and she said no, citing guilt as the reason. That guilt now has a price tag and a payment plan. Once the Kiriakis debt is settled and Gabi is no longer the woman who torched Victor’s legacy and smiled through dinner about it, the last thing keeping her out of that office is a no she already said once.
EJ DiMera has already told Johnny about Tony’s plan. Johnny DiMera is currently focused entirely on Chanel’s cancer diagnosis, which is the most human response imaginable and also the worst possible timing for a man who needs to be watching his back in a DiMera boardroom. He cannot fight a throne war from a hospital waiting room.
The DiMera throne goes to whoever is standing in front of it when the music stops. Gabi has the money. She has the motive. She has the guilt that is rapidly converting itself into resolve.
Johnny DiMera should probably stop watching the door to Chanel’s hospital room long enough to read those documents a little more carefully.
If Gabi DiMera settles her debt to Titan and walks through the DiMera door as CEO, is that justice, guilt money, or the cleverest long game Salem has seen in years? And what happens to Johnny? Sound off below!
