DID JOHNNY SHOOT HIS OWN FATHER? SHOCKING DAYS FLASHBACK REVEALS THE TRUTH!

Oh. My. GOD.

Just when you thought the “Who Shot EJ?” mystery couldn’t get any more jaw-dropping, Days of Our Lives dropped a bombshell that has me literally SCREAMING at my TV! In the most chilling flashback we’ve seen in years, EJ DiMera remembers something that changes EVERYTHING—his own son, Johnny DiMera, pointing a gun directly at him!

THE MOMENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

Let’s back up a minute. Earlier this month, EJ was gunned down at the DiMera mansion in typical soap fashion—dramatic lighting, stormy night, mysterious assailant. When he woke up from his coma (because what’s a soap without a good coma?), he had zero memory of who pulled the trigger.

But this week? The memories start flooding back.

And they are DEVASTATING.

That black-and-white flashback scene showing Johnny aiming a firearm at his own father? I gasped so loud my neighbor probably thought I was being attacked! The look in Johnny’s eyes was positively chilling—a mixture of rage and determination that makes me wonder if the father-son relationship is officially beyond repair.

But wait… is everything exactly as it appears? This is Salem, after all, where even death isn’t permanent and memories can be manipulated!

JOHNNY’S PERFECT MOTIVE

If you’ve been following along (and I KNOW you have), Johnny hasn’t exactly been hiding his feelings about dear old dad lately. That moment when he shouted “EJ DiMera is dead to me” right in the middle of the mansion? You could cut the tension with a knife!

The betrayal runs deep, folks. Maybe it has something to do with EJ meddling in Johnny and Chanel’s adoption plans? Whatever EJ did, it pushed his son straight into the danger zone.

And get this—apparently Johnny was seen earlier that evening at the Brady Pub, sneakily grabbing a gun that Roman Brady had hidden away. (How many hidden guns are floating around Salem these days? Seriously!)

That’s not just motive… that’s motive with ammunition!

GRANDMA SUSAN’S PSYCHIC WARNING

If there’s one thing I’ve learned after decades of watching Days, it’s to NEVER ignore Susan Banks when she gets one of her feelings. That woman’s intuition has saved more lives than Salem University Hospital!

In this week’s promo (which had me DYING), a visibly shaken Susan says about Johnny: “He’s hiding something dark.” The way Stacy Haiduk delivered that line sent shivers down my spine!

And remember when Susan had those “vibes” about Gabi Hernandez being involved? Turns out Gabi WAS at the mansion that night with a gun! Susan clearly inherited Elvis’s intuition genes along with his fondness for weird disguises.

I’m just saying… when Susan Banks is afraid of what her grandson might have done, we should ALL be worried.

CLUES FROM THAT FATEFUL NIGHT

The timeline of that stormy night is getting more complicated by the minute!

We already know Gabi confronted EJ with a gun (though she swears she didn’t shoot him). Now it seems Johnny might have had his own showdown with dad!

What’s interesting is that EJ was reportedly shot while sitting down in the mansion’s living room, but the flashback shows him standing face-to-face with Johnny. Could this mean Johnny threatened him earlier but left before the actual shooting? Or is EJ’s memory still jumbled?

Detective Shawn Brady is piecing together the evidence, including reports of a missing gun from Roman’s possession. The walls are closing in on Johnny, but is he really the culprit? Almost seems TOO obvious, doesn’t it?

IF JOHNNY REALLY PULLED THE TRIGGER…

Let’s imagine for a second that Johnny actually shot his father. The fallout would be NUCLEAR!

The DiMera dynasty has weathered its share of betrayals—heck, they practically invented family backstabbing—but attempted patricide? That’s next-level drama even for them!

Susan would be absolutely shattered. Can you imagine learning your beloved grandson tried to kill your son? And where does this leave Chanel? Finding out your husband shot his own father isn’t exactly a marriage strengthener!

And don’t even get me started on what happens when Sami Brady inevitably storms back to Salem to deal with this mess! That mother-son conversation would be Emmy material for SURE.

If Johnny is guilty, would EJ seek justice… or would blood prove thicker than bullets? EJ himself is no stranger to revenge plots, but would he turn his own son in to the authorities?

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

By the end of the week, EJ is done playing the victim and enlists his old pal Rita to investigate. (And can we talk about how EJ returning to his scheming ways feels SO right? The man was BORN to plot!)

Will Johnny confess if confronted? Will he claim self-defense? Or will another twist reveal someone else pulled the trigger while Johnny simply threatened his father?

The suspect list is still crowded—Kate Roberts previously threatened revenge on EJ, Ava Vitali has PLENTY of reasons to hate him, Roman Brady has his own scores to settle, and let’s not forget Kristen DiMera who could turn on her brother in a heartbeat!

But something tells me we’re in for a few more shocking revelations before this mystery is solved. One thing’s for certain—the DiMera family will never be the same.

Anyone else counting down the hours till the next episode? Because I literally CANNOT wait to see how this plays out! Hit me up in the comments with your wildest theories about who REALLY shot EJ DiMera!
