Why would the mayor of Salem personally intervene in an active police investigation?

And it gets worse. Paulina and EJ have been in constant contact. Phone records exist. The paper trail connecting Salem’s mayor to the man running an illegal resurrection lab is waiting for someone to pull the thread. When Abe finds out Paulina knew his dead wife was alive and helped the man hiding her, that is not a conversation. That’s a detonation.

The Real Horror Is Not the Pod

Here’s the part that should keep Paulina up at night. Lexie is a DiMera. She spent years trying to outrun that bloodline. Sometimes she succeeded and sometimes she didn’t. She had affairs. Stole babies. Even lied under oath. And that was the version of Lexie who had not been marinating in Rolf’s chemicals.

What if the woman who climbs out of that pod remembers everything she lost and decides she is taking it all back? What if she looks at Abe and sees her husband?
