Nikki Crawford, who plays Lexie Carver on Days of Our Lives, took to Instagram to share a heartfelt reflection on her time with the character. Alongside a photo of Abe comforting a distraught Lexie, Nikki Crawford posed a question about what a final conversation with loved ones might sound like, and reflected on how stepping into Lexie’s shoes forced her to sit with that question every day she played the role.

Nikki Crawford debuted as Lexie on March 6, 2026, when DAYS revealed that the woman inside the glowing pod was Abe’s late wife. Lexie was previously played by Renee Jones from 1993 until her death in 2012, with Jennifer Lee stepping in to portray Lexie’s spirit for a special episode in 2021.
