Days Of Our Lives
Owen Kent Is Coming Back to Kidnap Stephanie Johnson and DAYS Fans Should Be Terrified
Owen Kent returns to kidnap Stephanie Johnson on Days of Our Lives while Alex blames Jeremy and Steve races to find his daughter’s real stalker.

STEPHANIE JOHNSON’S WORST NIGHTMARE RETURNS AND HER STALKER ISN’T WORKING WITH ANYONE. OR IS HE?
TL;DR: Owen Kent is back on Days of Our Lives with Wes Ramsey reprising the role, and spoilers confirm he will chloroform and kidnap Stephanie from the hospital. Alex wrongly blames Jeremy while Steve develops a theory pointing straight at Stephanie’s former captor. Owen may have a secret partner helping him, and this time his obsession is entirely his own.
This Isn’t Just a Stalker Story — It’s a Sequel to Stephanie’s Worst Trauma
The stalker terrorizing Stephanie Johnson on Days of Our Lives has a name, a face, and a deeply disturbing history. Owen Kent is back, played once again by Wes Ramsey, and spoilers reveal that what’s been building for months is about to escalate into a full-blown kidnapping. Stephanie will be chloroformed and snatched from the hospital, the one place she should feel safe, and dragged back into the nightmare she thought ended years ago.
For newer fans who might not know, Owen Kent originally kidnapped Stephanie on EJ DiMera’s orders during the DiMera-Kiriakis feud. But what started as a business transaction turned into something far worse. While waiting to hand Stephanie over, Owen became dangerously obsessed with her. He wanted to run away with her. Stephanie allowed Owen to kiss her hoping to distract him long enough to escape, but it didn’t work. Philip, Melanie, and Brady eventually rescued her, but the psychological damage was devastating. Stephanie suffered nightmares, anxiety attacks, and required medication just to sleep.
Now Owen Kent is back, and this time there’s no DiMera pulling his strings. This obsession belongs entirely to him. The creepy fan letters started appearing around Thanksgiving with messages like “my heart yearns for you” and “you will be mine.” Stephanie dismissed them. She shouldn’t have.

Alex Blames the Wrong Man and It’s Going to Cost Them
Here’s where the storyline gets painfully frustrating in the best soap opera way. When Stephanie disappears, Alex Kiriakis immediately blames Jeremy Horton. Alex has been suspicious of Jeremy from the start, and the kidnapping gives him the excuse he’s been looking for to go full attack mode. He’ll confront Jeremy, launch a showdown, and waste precious time targeting the wrong person while Owen has Stephanie.
Meanwhile, Steve Johnson is the one putting the real pieces together. Steve develops a theory that points directly at Owen Kent, Stephanie’s former kidnapper who was obsessed with her. Steve will attack Owen and demand answers, because Steve Johnson doesn’t politely ask questions when his daughter’s life is on the line. The question is whether Steve gets to Owen before Owen does something irreversible.
The bugged picture frame from weeks ago connects here too. Owen has been listening to Stephanie’s conversations through the device he planted, which means he knew about the fake elopement plan, he knew about the wedding, and he’s been tracking her every move. The stalker has been two steps ahead this entire time, and now he’s making his move.
Owen May Not Be Working Alone
The scariest part of this storyline is that Owen Kent might have help. Theories about a secret accomplice have been swirling, and the possibilities are genuinely chilling. Vivian Alamain has a history of kidnappings and holds grudges against the Kiriakis family, which now includes Stephanie through her marriage to Alex. If Stefan DiMera is truly dead, Vivian might be unhinged enough to help Owen just to cause pain.
There’s also the possibility of a DiMera loyalist pulling strings behind the scenes. Owen was originally a DiMera associate, and someone had to help him with logistics like supplying chloroform and providing a safe house. Stephanie Johnson will eventually make it home, but the fallout from this kidnapping is going to reshape several relationships in Salem.
Jeremy Horton’s exit is also tied to this storyline, with Michael Roark’s final airdate coming on April 29. Whether Jeremy leaves Salem cleared of suspicion or still under a cloud remains to be seen, but Alex’s wrongful accusations are going to do serious damage before the truth comes out. Stephanie survived Owen Kent once on Days of Our Lives. She’ll survive him again. But the scars from this round might cut even deeper.
