The search just turned into a homicide investigation. The DNA is going to come back. Salem is going to mourn. Kristen DiMera is going to walk through the DiMera mansion smiling because she thinks she has gotten away with bashing a teenager in the head with a rock and dumping the body in the water on Days of Our Lives.

The moment Sophia surfaces and says Holly Jonas hit her with a rock instead of Kristen DiMera, she gets two things in one move. Revenge on the girl who has been the entire reason for her downward spiral, and a permanent grip on Kristen DiMera that nobody can ever break.

Holly goes to prison for a crime she did not commit. Kristen pays Sophia for her silence forever. Sophia walks out of Salem with the money, the freedom, and the satisfaction of having destroyed Holly Jonas in a way that nothing else ever could.
